    Hi
I'm new but after reading the previous posts figure I will give it a try. I'm going to budget £20 for this week and see how I go.

    Hello!

Pull up a seat, have a cake (Bought with last weeks budget of course!) and join us and our merry band of budgeteers :D

I would give you a better welcome but one of the cats is clawing me as I type for not paying him enough attention...

I got my mum's card and present in past Times. It came to about £15. As I was walking up to the till one of the shop assistants gave me a voucher which would give me £5 off if I spent £20 so I went and picked up three birthday cards for my aunts who all have birthdays soon and basically got them free!

Right, I'm def off to the store tomorrow. I didn't think to look there for cards either, but I will now.

PP - what are you getting your sister? I've a close friends birthday coming up and I always get her the same thing (wine/chocs). Totally unimaginative.
    Looking forward to the future.
  • I didnt do very well last week and ended up on £14. PointyPenguin can you please put me down for £20.00 this week please. Thanks

Howdy peeps! I thought I'd join in your glorious thread as a way of actually sticking to my weekly budget. If I have to confess to you lot hopefully I'll decide not to spend my cash.

I'm up for a £20 budget this week. Feeling the guilt of a professional hair cut and colour last week so having to tighten my belt until payday.

Having said that I've have 2 NSD's already this week, primarily because I've not left the house!! Well it's back to work tomorrow and only 5 days of this week left. I sure hope I can pull this off.

    Wish me luck! xx

Welcome all newbie budgeteers I have added you all to the first post.

littlepinkstars44 feel free to include what you want in your budget, most people do not count planned expenses or items budgeted else where.

Welll done F_F on getting the quote down that must be a relief.

babs2008 I ended up buying my sis a top and skirt from M&S (with gift receipts!) and sending her some flower cheaply from ASDA flowers by post. I never know what to get her I just hopes she likes it.

:hello:beencounting I can't seem to find the £ sign on my new netbook thingy, I think because it is an american keyboard it just comes up with a # all very strange and somewhat disturbing.

Anyway for me today I had lots of present related expenses but the only one that counts for this challenge is 99p for a coffee at lunch.
