hmmn? Im not sure now whether its worth it, as knowing me I'd forget to top up in time and I'm sure they know people will forget sometimes.

I was gonna do the O2 Premium broadband at £14.99 which works out at about an extra fiver per month if I'm not an O2 customer. Plus the cost of a cheap new phone at about £30, plus the top-ups itself. I read the tariffs section to mean that you had to top up every month to get the extras such as the 500 minutes on the Favourite Place tariff. .. see, I'm confused already. :o I just want a PAYG with nothing extra.

They text you a few days before to remind you to top up. You can just use a free SIM in an old phone if you want. It can be on any contract or PAYG phone. I think you may be looking at the contract tarrifs?

Macman - you're right - I've already got a BT landline. What I meant was I'm only looking to get broadband on it's own and not as part of a phone/internet/tv/kitchen sink package as I've already got a good phone deal.

Current ISP is Tiscali (hence the query!) and on unlimited access, which I'd also want.

    Highly recommend: O2 http://broadband.o2.co.uk

Simple, works and they have some of the best service I've ever received. And they'll be here this time next year.
