Its their money not there money. Were you educated privately by any chance?
My children are at Grammar school actually, so great education and no cost.
Dont know why you are all getting on your high horses, what you all spend your money on is none of my business!!
Not to be petty, but shouldn't that be "It's their money, not there money. Were you educated privately by any chance?

Hope that helps :A0 -
What do you do when you feel that you can't cut down any further. You buy the basics, add the lentils and oats to mince, bulk out with veg, make your own bread.... This is the sort of programme that is needed, to help those of us on low income to see how we can survive this credit crunch.Second purse £101/100

if you can send your kids to a private school, then you dont need to watch your food bill.
Just noticed this post and would like to nominate for post of the month from someone who ain't got a clue what they are talking about.
We sent our kids to private school and they are currently at Uni. Believe me when I tell you we are far from rich but it was a decision we reached in order that they may benefit in future years. Many people who send their kids to Private School will indeed be rich but please think about what you are saying before making such a blanket statement.

No I wasn't educated privately went to a crap school and ended up with few quals and a dead end office job which is probably part of the reason why we made the decisions we did about our childs education, sounds to me like you have a bit of sour grapes over private education although i don't know why you aren't the one paying a fortune to allow your children to get a decent education like you stated yours are getting a free one! Oh by the way caviar and lobster tonight I wish!0 -

They are the food snobs! I personally don't care what value stuff I have in my trolley the more the better. My sister-in-laws family are organic and would never have value anything. But when we do lunch for them the plates are cleared! Butchers meat value veg and puddings made with value flour and butter.
You're demonstrating a lack of understanding of the wider issues, and an element of reverse snobbery with this post. Yes there are people who opt for organic produce for the cachet or the 'better' flavour, but the vast majority are concerned about the health or environmental effects of chemicals in the food chain. No doubt your sister-in law and her family clear their plates because you are an excellent cook - no more no less.
