To anyone who even thinks about applying for a loan with this company, don't do it!! They honestly are lying thieving scum. Its too long to explain on here but they took my fee, I could never get through on the phone, the e mail address is not exsistant and I never got my loan. When I finanly sussed out what was going on and asked them about it the guy hung up on me. They have caused all sorts of hell for me and my partner in many ways due to being told the loan was going to be in my account and then wasn't. I urge anyone thinking of taking a loan with them to read all of these comments first.0

If anyone is lucky enough to get paid out by these there proposal agreement which apparently is all you need send back to get your loan paid out, oh and the broker fee, guaranted double back if they cant find you a lender in 14 days ,given that they state as you have been accepted as a customer of pathway finance your loan is guaranteed, the terms and conditions reg by the cca1974, they wouldnt have a leg to stand on if you didnt make a payment as all the neccesary regs ARE NOT THERE, I CAN POST A COPY OF THIS UP IF ANYONE INTERESTED JUST TO SEE WHAT TWADDLE THEY TALK.

Hya guys,
I live in London.
Have read all the posts here and on other forums relating to Pathway. My other half went to them for a loan and again had to pay the fee of £47.50 admin fee.
After reading all these comments i personally did some research and contacted the said company.
Admittedly, it took me several attempts "14 actually" to get through to them on their freefone number.
I eventually managed to speak to someone and asked what the situation was relating to their policy. Including the comments on the forums I have read.
I was answered honestly and calmly by the person I spoke to.
I was told that several people had lost their original fees as they became irate on the phone and cancelled their loans in a fit of madness.
Understandable I guess.
I asked them to speak to my other arf in relation to his loan and they have said that his loan will clear in the next 2 days.
I will keep you informed of the outcome and hope you all get things sorted.
Regards
Leighton and Kev
PS. I am a Head Chef not working for any finance company lol0 -
Hi
I applied for a Pathway Finance loan out of desparation to get some money together for a family holiday. I only wanted £500 and was accepted by phone the same day, and told that I would receive the paperwork the following day. I explained that I was going on holiday 2 days later, and was it definitely going to be accepted? The lady on the phone said that yes, it was agreed, and that as soon as I sent back a form the money would be deposited into my account.
I did receive the paperwork the day before I went on holiday, so I was anxious to complete it and get it sent back. I was a little concerned because in the letter it stated that I was 100% accepted for a loan, but should I not be matched to a lender within 14 days I would receive DOUBLE my admin fee back as a refund. I called the office number on the letter and a different girl from previously assured me that the wording of the letter was just in case anything went wrong, and that I had been accepted for the loan already. I therefore paid my £47.50 in cash into the Nat West account, and posted everything off recorded delivery.
I went on holiday for a week, but in that time no money was put into my account so I started to feel that something was wrong. On my return, I phoned the same number again, only to hear it had been changed, and for the last week have tried numerous times to get through, but with no success. I am now convinced I have been scammed, and am really upset that I wasted £48 that I could at least have used on holiday! I have gone to their website and tried to send them an e-mail today, but I really dont expect to get any response, nor do I expect to get any form of refund.
Has anyone out there actually received a loan, or is the whole thing just one big con?0 -
