pathway finance???
I applied for a loan with this lender and they asked for a processing fee of £47.50 which i paid because i was absolutely desperate for the loan and they said that the loan was guaranteed. Their website says that loans turnaround was 24-48hrs but i don't know i have a very horrible feeling. Every time i ring it seems to be the same person i speak to?!? I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with this lender?? Also i need this loan like yesterday, any suggestions on how i can get hold of this if this lender doesn't come through for me. The amount i want to borrow is £7000 and my credit report is not that good. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thankyou

hi unfortunately you have been done out of youre money.all though it is comin practise paying for the procces fees to companys however pathway fianace are not registered with the fsa the address they give does not exist
the street does but there office does not why dont you check google maps.
they prey on the needy to get money they are the scum of the earth
at least they have been answering the phone to you
i have been doing a lttle investigation on pathway finance the email address they provide is unmonitered the phone lines are dodgy as hell it comes up with a women telling you an error code however i have just stayed on the line and it still rings !!!!!!? is that about.
my advice is if you can speak to them get youre money back dont count on
getting a double refund this company is really the worst i have ever come across
hope this helps
try go loans they seem to be ok0 -
not all brokers are like that.try yes loans they are a brookers. i must warn you tho they arent the most reliable they will give you a loan but not for the amount you ask for ex you ask for £1000 they will accept you for that then you will get the details of the loan (after you pay for it) and the loan amount will be less than you asked for if you arent happy with that amount just ask for a refund that however can be easier said than done they will refund you but its a long procces
hope this helps0 -
I made an application with these guys on monday. They sent me some paperwork asking for a fee and I was a bit skeptical about it first. I read these forums and thought I might aswell give it a try. I paid them at netwest and sent my documents back on tuesday and the £10,000 I applied for was deposited into my account today.
All I can do is recommend this company to anyone else as they did pay the funds out quite quickly.
I actually did some research aswell and are they not required to be registered with the FSA because they are a broker and not a lender.
Brokers are required to register with the Office of Fair Trading under the Consumer Credit Act 1976 and these guys are actually registered with them.0 -
Anyone else detect just a vague hint of manure in edward445 post??
Or is it just sceptical 'ol me?0 -

I used pathways to secure a loan back in march of this year for £10000 to purchase a car that i had my eye on for some time. They came through with the funds a few days after they said that the funds would be deposited and i ended up missing out on that car but it shows that there is some one up there because in the end i got a different car of the same model with a whole lot more spec0

Yes, I have never used the MSE forum before but I must register in order to praise an random unknown.....
Edwards.... Who is your loan with? Not Pathway as they are only brokers after all. Who is it that supplied the money so quickly?
If you could let us know then we can all apply direct and save on the broker fee.
Thanks...
(I will set a reminder on my phone to come back and check this thread in 6 months....)0 -
i have reason to belive that edwrd445 works for pathway fianace
its kinda funny how he is a newbie and has only posted on this particular forum i smell a rat. i have reported pathway finance to trading standards and they also say pathway finance are up to something
so i know there being watched by the appropriate authurities. it sickens me to think that pepole make fake dodgy companys just to rip pepole off and with the credit crunch going on aswell what is the world coming to
these pepole if gaught (which they never do) should have to pay an unlimited fine.its just they charge £47.50 procces fee they dont deliver, no documents come and at times like these that £47.50 could have bought
something you really needed ie food. this will be my last post on this forum
because i get way to angry with companys like this ripping pepole off :mad:0
