I could see no CPZ sign going from Acton Lane into Chiswick Road but oddly there is one at the end of Chiswick Road but you would not see this as it is a one way street. Also noted that the resident bay signs are non compliant as they are divided into 2 panels with the time of operation in the lower panel.
I think this is a case where common sense is needed and that I expect means adjudication. I would argue that no CPZ was placed at the entry to the road (if the road is wider than 5m then there should be an entry sign on each side)and the bay had no sign and highlight that research has revealed that the limited signage is non compliant.
The Traffic Signs Manual also advises
12.4 All designated parking places and loading baysoperates at all times.
within a type (a) CPZ, other than parking meter bays,
need to be signed in accordance with section 7 (see
para 12.23 for disc or ticket parking). The times of
operation, where not continuous, are always shown
on the sign, even where they are the same as those
shown on the zone entry sign. To omit times from
the sign indicates that a parking place or loading bay
