I had one every day for the majority of February, my friends card was only doing 50 point ones for Meal Deal, maybe goes down to the amount of meal deals you buy? Suppose I can't argue at having my lunch from Boots for £1.88 a day for a month!

My sister has never bought a meal deal, yet the AC machine constantly offers her 100 points vouchers, whereas I buy them regularly and if I do manage to get one its never been over 75 points!?

Thats fair enough I suppose.. now why didn't the hostile SA describe it in those terms?!.. Made me feel like I was trying to commit a crime

Thanks, I'll put it down on the 'lesson learned list' I think!

i know what you mean some sa are crazy,im one of them!but she should have explained it to you.

i would still phone customer services and let them know you didnt like the taste,i dont find them as bad in fact i think they're kinder.

I have never bought a meal deal and I don't get a voucher!!! I would have liked to get one the other day, but - no voucher offered, so no meal purchased ;-)

I've inhertited my Grans AC, hers had a 75points on a £10 spend voucher but I have never had this. I printed off her voucher then used it along with my card and got phone credit. I didn't find anything to get free with my £5 N7 voucher so I kept hold of it for now.

Oh bum!

I've just opened my free no 7 gift bag I got today and found that the 250 point voucher is missing. Phoned the store, they said I have to go back to collect one. Naughty.

On the phone this morning the person I spoke to told me that the lad who argued against giving me a skincare voucher because 'it's ending anyway' was quite right to do so as they 'usually stop giving out the vouchers a couple of weeks before the end date that you can use them by'. I'm not very impressed at being told a load of interpretive rubbish, I respect the stated terms of their offers - and so should they.
What utter rubbish! Seconds before the shop closes on the last day of the offer you should still be given a voucher, as that means you can run over to the aisle and get a freebie. What's the point of them "holding on" to unused vouchers - they'll only go in the bin!
Oh and I also have the wrong vitamins because they're in identical packaging and were on the wrong shelf - I'm told it will be entirely at the store's discretion if they sort this out for me...
'Fraid so, but we can all understand why. The only stated reason that they'd give a refund on medicines is if the product is damaged - a broken seal or bottle, etc.

Re clinique-Sorry Jaffacakes, it was Chelmsford , before 9. They gave me a long talk about establishing a skincare routine, but coughed up happily- maybe it panicked them having two people coming in one after the other.
My skincare routine is:-

Wait until Boots are giving away or even paying you to take away skincare products.

"Buy" enough to last you ages, give away to friends and family and enjoy! :D

i used to do a colum fo rthe student newspaper called the 'peniless student' giving tips on saving money, getting freebies, utilities, whatever you name it ans they got a new editor (a first year engineering student!) who decided it wasnt any good and dropped me- and my comic strip!!

You were a stripper !!!!!!!!!

Sorry Freebie, :o couldn't resist that one. You are a real tonic, can't wait to enjoy something you get published.

Read this joke today and thought it might amuse all the (many) pregnant Boots tarts -

A father is out of the country when his wife goes into labour. He tries to phone the delivery suite but by accident his hotel receptionist connects him to Lord's cricket ground.
"How's it going?" he asks.
"Brilliantly!" comes the reply. "We've got three out so far, and hope to have the others out before tea. We dropped one when the light got bad, but the last one was a duck!"

Just hope it didn't have flu ............. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: LOL

I included the "How to complain" link in the FAQ to give the official line on complaining. However, nothing to stop you bypassing the store manager and going straight to Customer Care!

I have sent an e-mail to customer service with all the details. Looked at my receipt and also noticed another problem to complain about. The shelf said 2 bottles of any diet coke for £1.29. I got 2 X diet cherry coke and didn't get the reduction so mentioned that too :money: :j :rotfl: :rotfl:
