I have sent an e-mail to customer service with all the details. Looked at my receipt and also noticed another problem to complain about. The shelf said 2 bottles of any diet coke for £1.29. I got 2 X diet cherry coke and didn't get the reduction so mentioned that too :money: :j :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had the same thing last Friday, bought 2 bottles of diet coke and it didnt come off so complained there and then. She went and checked, came back with the promotion label and said the offer had ended but no one had taken down the sign but she gave it to me for the offer price anyway.

I went to Boots yesterday as I had some mailed vouchers that there due to run out. I had a mixed trip with regards to success.

I had a Botanics voucher for a free Day Shift Moisturiser with any other Botanics product, would have got the small wipes for 89p but they did not have any moisturiser left!

I also had a free Boots wax product voucher with any hair removal product but there were not and sensitive products so it would have been pointless me spending money to buy a product I can't even use!

On the plus side I did find the TS mg range of mens products and there was a mix of old and new items. I took a small and a large deodorant spray to price check, the mimi one was 22p and the full size was 75p!!! I picked up 3 full sizes for OH and used three 100 point vouchers from the AC machine. There was also a TS after shave in old packaging, SEL was £9.99 but scanned at £2.50 so picked one of those up too and used another 100 points from the machine.

Also got a 17 mascara from the sale bin for £1.25 and used a 100 point voucher from the mail out.

Had a few other bits so I could also use a 50 points for over £7.50 spend voucher.

Spent more than £10 so got a skin care voucher too!

The points total should have been 550 from the coupons and 94 from the normal bits. The till only added on 300 from the coupons. I went back to the till and asked why and the manager could not explain why they had not been added but said that I had already been given more than I should have (as the TS are only meant to be one per transaction) and so he refused to give me my extra 250 points or the vouchers back. If it had not had been from the skin care voucher I would have made him refund the whole thing and do it all in seperate transactions so I could have got all my points. I decided that I would not argue with him, instead I just called the number from the back of my reciept and said that I had used vouchers and the points had not all been added and the manager would not add them on. The lady on the phone was lovely and has added the extra 250 on for me! It just goes to show that there is no point in getting stressed and messing up your day when you know you can sort it out with people who aren't jobsworths who act as if the store will go bankrupt and not pay them if they let a customer get away with a good deal!

On an even better note I paid for the £11.00 total with a gift card I had been sent from head office after I made a complaint about an SA that actually made me cry on New Years eve over a SEL problem!

I paid out £1.50 of my own money, made 644 in points and got a skin care voucher!!

I love this thread so much, my OH thinks that Boots really need to employ someone to check out web sites for stuff like this or they will go out of business, I think they should carry on being as clueless as ever, it suits me fine!!!!

The new EI voucher only gives one lot of points, and the BOGOF is not on anymore... so buy only one (if you haven't got enough already! :D). The handwashes are still £1.66.

(Was quite excited when the offer popped up for me today... alas, my joy was short-lived! :rotfl: As if I need any more EI! )

NB: The EI voucher and the 200 point hair voucher can only be printed off once!!!

This is my first post... after following the thread for ages I decided to be brave and make a contribution!

I went to Boots in Robin Park, Wigan today.

    First...
    3 x bodyform = £4.26, 3 for 2 so £2.84, then £1 off each = 16p profit, then 50 extra points.
No17 self tan wipe plus free brush = £1.99 plus 200 extra points
Hair straightener mat/carry bag reduced to £5
Everyday indulgance handwash £1.66 plus 150 points
    Couple of low carb bars
Total spend £10.91, total points 515 plus No7 voucher

    Second...
    No7 moisturiser £8.50
    No7 concealer £6.50
Total spend £15 then used £5 off voucher plus 250 point voucher from free gift bag Was hoping to also use 200 points from machine but wouldn't go through till. Did get another No7 voucher though so can't complain too much.

    Finally...
    Bodyform as above
    No17 wipe as above
Half price kids outfit for impending christening - £6.50
    handwash as above
So total spend £9.99, plus 612 points plus new No7 voucher

So altogether spent £30.90, saving £20.32 and earning 1375 points! Plus I have another 2 No7 vouchers to spend.

Also earning brownie points from OH for buying christening present and saving him being dragged round shops. Although he did have a bit of a shock when I told him i'd bought a lovely outfit for the baby (especially as just last week joined parenting club...)

OK I got completely confused! The 200 points on selected hair products from the ACM is for when you buy 3 products... And here was me thinking we're on to another loophole with Head & Shoulders being under £2...

    Hi,

I was in my local Boots this morning and found the Canon Powershot A75 digital camera price £62.25, one of my family has this camera & they think it is great for anyone wanting to just point & go! The only 1 left was the display model and so the SA let me have it for £52.25; best of all I paid for it with my points :D

Hope someone else manages to find one :)

Can't remember if anyone's already mentioned this but the new £5 No7 voucher is valid until 28th March (4 weeks to use it up! :j ) and is for ALL No7 products (and Ruby & Millie cosmetics!

There might be some pretty good deals coming up on No7 suncare and sunless tanning etc... ;)

I couldn't find anything which would have been totally free with the £5 No7 voucher. There was some No7 hair protector for £5.50 in the Sun cream and some Body Buff Exfoliator (I forget its name) which I think was around £5.50.
Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!
