I had one every day for the majority of February, my friends card was only doing 50 point ones for Meal Deal, maybe goes down to the amount of meal deals you buy? Suppose I can't argue at having my lunch from Boots for £1.88 a day for a month!0 -
luvbargains wrote:so i am i right in thinking that if i spent £10 and got the £5 no7 voucher, i could use my 250 pts voucher from the purple bag and the 200pts for no7 items from ACM ?
So i could get a pack of wipes =£1 with £5 0ff,
get 450 pts back?
does that sound right?
sarah
Unless it scans on any no7 and you get an unobservant SA.
Re clinique-Sorry Jaffacakes, it was Chelmsford , before 9. They gave me a long talk about establishing a skincare routine, but coughed up happily- maybe it panicked them having two people coming in one after the other.0 -

mrs_lds wrote:I managed to multibuy the above product today (5of them ) and got 100 points on each one. It worked for me. I only used one voucher for all of them btw.

freebie_junkie wrote:i used to do a colum fo rthe student newspaper called the 'peniless student' giving tips on saving money, getting freebies, utilities, whatever you name it ans they got a new editor (a first year engineering student!) who decided it wasnt any good and dropped me- and my comic strip!!
Who says your tips were no good, we all love you
What a silly silly person, well their loss is our gain! More freebies and loopholes for us all to share here, even if they didn't want them we most certainly do :T
I thought students were meant to be hard up, obviously the new editor has more money than I had as a student - I would have loved all your tips back then (in the dark ages!)GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
PaleScene wrote:I had a lousy time in Boots yesterday leaving me with less points than I should have had, more spent than I should have done (refunded in points by a very grudging Customer Services this morning with 20 points extra) and no opportunity to spend two skincare vouchers earned in there as arguing with the assistant left me no time before my parking ticket was up. I did try the out of town Boots so as not to waste the vouchers but they had been blitzed on the skincare aisle so I only used one at an extra cost of £2.95. (I could have used it easily for around the value in town).
On the phone this morning the person I spoke to told me that the lad who argued against giving me a skincare voucher because 'it's ending anyway' was quite right to do so as they 'usually stop giving out the vouchers a couple of weeks before the end date that you can use them by'. I'm not very impressed at being told a load of interpretive rubbish, I respect the stated terms of their offers - and so should they.
Oh and I also have the wrong vitamins because they're in identical packaging and were on the wrong shelf - I'm told it will be entirely at the store's discretion if they sort this out for me...
I'm not in any hurry to give them more paying custom for a while.
i think we should have a mutual cry on each others shoulders PALESCENE, I had a terrible time too with vouchers and refunds and CRABBYSA's! loathed to post exactly what happened as we all know who's watching dont we.. *adjusts collar on trenchcoat and quietly leaves disgruntled*
