This one ends on tuesday along with the skincare vouchers. Hopefully we are going to see some new offers/glitches next week!0 -
Bought two packs of nappies from boots.com plus a few other bits and pieces - when they arrived some lovely order picker had put in two double packs of nappies!0

financial_filly wrote:nothing much to add either but have just checked my receipt from Boots yesterday and noticed that the young man overcharged me on 2 reduced fcuk products  . He charged me 99p instead of 85p - mum thinks i am mad to go back but an overcharge is an overcharge plus i have to go back anyway as i have some vouchers to use by tuesday.
Yesterday was a hassle, only meant to be popping in but ended up waiting ages for someone to add 100 points onto my card as the young man insisted that it had scanned ok and there were on the receipt.. i felt like saying "young man i may be new to this bootsing but i do know how many bonus points i should get":rotfl:
Oooooooooooooooooooh, YOUNG MAN!!!

Ha ha - I'm not alone!0 -
I'm trying to be really good with boots as I have far too much cosmetics and stuff in my flat but had 2 skincare vouchers to use and a 20% off healthcare one from the after Christmas mailing so I went in yesterday while I was in town and picked up TD cleanser and wipes (as I didn't get any when the TD offer was on in January) and went to the pharmacy counter as I wanted some paracetamol and codeine with the 20% off voucher and you have to get that from the pharmacy counter.
I was amazed at how nice the lady was - she scanned one TD product and the tablets and the £5 came off but not the 20% off the tablets. She studied all the T+Cs and said it should work (which I knew) and voided the transactions did the TD things for me as she knew I'd get them free then went and checked with the pharmacist.
She came back and said she'd manually take off the discount off the tablets and was very sorry it hadn't worked and was sorry to keep me waiting - nice to see boots still has some friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Well done to everyone bagging all these bargains - if I had space to store things I would try too. Looking forward to seeing if there's another voucher on £10 spend soon.

He he! :rotfl: I was kind of glad when the TD/DR and EI vouchers were over, it meant I could relax a bit!
DH has just had a good nose through yesterday's "bargains", now he's recovered from the shock of a pregnancy mailingand the fact that I have enough sanitary towels until I die (did promise that they'd be going tomorrow - off to the refuge, not that I'll use them all in one day  ) he was quite excited to find the FCUK aftershave, and has used the soap in the shower already! Boy, are we going to be one clean good smelling family! :rotfl:
For anyone who's interested (talking of good smelling just made me think of it!) Right Guard deo is BOGOF in Tesco at the mo - was going to pick some up in Boots, but much cheaper from Mr TGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
