Used up my four skincare vouchers - I got:
Transaction 1 -
TD lip plumper - paid £1.99 - used £5.00 voucher
Bodyform - free with voucher
Transaction 2 -
TD intensive restoring treatment - cost £3.75
TD night moisturiser - cost £2.23
paid with £5.00 voucher, so actual cash payment 98 pence
Transaction 3 -
TD night moisturiser x 2 - £2.23 each so free with voucher
Transaction 4 -
TD night moisturiser x 2 - £2.23 each so free with voucher (again!)
So all in all lots of goodies for a total spend of £2.97! The SA was not at all impressed and looked just like she'd been sucking a lemon, especially when she realised that more than one product would go through for free (I told her that I was quite happy to pay for the second item if it didn't go through - ha ha!). I was very very nice to her, but I don't think that she liked me very much, even less when she had to add the points from a receipt that I'd asked to be validated (dh had remembered that I would want the points from the drinks he bought the children yesterday - he's beginning to learn! :T )
So all in all a great Boots shop - though dh thinks that they will soon ban me!
For anyone near the Weston high street store - the TD stuff is in the old packaging on a high shelf above the tills! Was told by a diff SA that the hand cream wouldn't go through with the voucher :rotfl: , thought that I'd just make the most of the other stuff instead, especially as the old style handcream was still priced at £5.00 :A Official Boots Tart :A

babybe11 wrote:so is time delay in old packaging too going cheap?
Some was in silver packaging and some was in the older style white packaging - the writing (time delay) was in relective holographic/rainbow writing, rather than the newer pink/white packaging.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

oooh! hello to fellow mse'r i met in manny yesterday- i kind guessed when she dragged a step stool over to teh bodyform display to look for vouchers on teh ones on teh top shelf! haha! bteween us we pretty much distroyed that displsay!
but on teh plus side for me i got 3 x 10 bodyforms with a creme egg each time and just paid the 20p or whetever it was and got 3 skin care vouchers and 40 points back each time! just kept ripping teh vouchers off and going back!hehe!
Hi freebie_junkie, it was funny seeing a fellow mse'r, glad you got a great bargain. was worried when a SA approahed me an asked if I knew you,(must have seen us chatting), as she said she had been alerted to someone "thieving" i.e ripping the vouchers off the packets!! I tried to find you as I was sure you'd get nabbed by security!! Glad you're okay!
I was quite happy with my one pack....am running out of storage space at home!

Boots in Gateshead Metro Centre had Avene bags today. First time I've seen them in there. I got two with the cleansing bars..free with £5 vouchers. I went back later and bought two Botanics shower gels, picked up two more bags and a few Bodyform. Paid using a mixture of cash and vouchers. the SA looked puzzled when the bags went through free and said Oh they must be a free gift are they? I just nodded and she put them through. They also had the blue and pink T&G palattes of hair stuff on buy two for £7. Does anyone know if the 1 litre bottles of shampo and conditioner work on the buy 2 for £7? coz there were loads of these.0

I don't think the 1 litre bottles work anymore..I have seen a sign up saying these are excluded from the 2 for £70

I take it the TD is so cheap because of this old packaging - can you tell me what it looks like as i can only find the new and expensive packaging.Ellie
