Wish I'd grabbed it now!!
I bought 4 of the half price Soltan kids sets and put two Avene bags through with them...SA didn't say a thing.
Try it with a younger SA or a male SA is even better.....they normally don't have a clue about make up offers.0 -

Heinz Simply Pots are currently reduced from 76p to 46p.
If you go to the Advantage Card Machine and check Your Offers in the "Baby" section you'll see a voucher for "Get 30 points for buying Heinz Simply Pots".
I've just bought 3 pots and was surprised to see that I got 90 extra points, so it looks like you get 30 points per pot.
Making the pot price 16p .... Not Bad !
Hi
Did you use just one voucher in the transaction?
Yep .... just the one voucher .... and bought 3 pots .... 90 points extra awarded0 -
If anyone spots the Avene bags in any of the stores in the north of Scotland could they please post on here? Thanks. If I had known then what I know now . . .

Hi All,
I had a good Boots haul today, spent over an hour in store (thinking about setting up home there!). The No 7 suncare stuff went through bogof, but the SA said I had to actually pay £15 on No 7 stuff to get the free bag, so just got her to refund it instead.
I did manage to get 2 five day detox kits, marked down to £6.75, bogof, plus I still had a 200 point voucher in my bag from the January mailing, so in essence only £4.75. Considering they are £13.50 full price I was really pleased. I also managed to get some natural collection vanilla perfume things for 50p each, bogof. Then I picked up two gifts sets of the Moroccan Rose stuff, £1.37 bogof. Even the SA commented what a good deal that one was.
Managed to pick up a few Trevor Sorbie old style bits, putting a basket together for my hubby's birthday, so they can go towards that. Got a lynx click and a hackett body spray to make it up to £10 so I could get the £4 off. Picked up two lots of the 17 self tan wipes and two free brushes, along with my 400 points from the voucher. Also managed to get a few more packets of bodyform with vouchers on.
All in all I spent £26.45, Receipt said I had 'saved £24.12', received 1000 bonus points and over 100 normal points. I was pretty pleased.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -
Hiya Bootserz
Had a lovely day at boots today! got these items from the well stocked reduced section opposite selfidges..
LOREAL Invincible, Kiss Proof Lipstick 7.99 down to £1 (I got 3 different nice shades)
17 HideAway Concealer 2.49 down to £1
17 Barly there moisture tint £2.49 £1
(£29 worth of make up for £5)
They had lots of Loreal and Maybelene nail varnishes too, quite a few were glittery, wasn't intrested in them as I have enough already.
then went to the Big store store further down on Oxford Street and the lady on the benefit stall gave me a make overLovely products..Was really intrested in buying it untill she mentioned the price lol.. I don't need to spend that much on make up it's not exactly money saving material but it was lovely to be pampered for 15 mins and have the her apprentice/colleague play with my 9 month old daughter while it was being done!!
Then spent £25 on baby things went to checkout and the lady in front spent over a tenner and dint want her voucher!!! The SA asked me, if I wanted it! Of course I said yesI told him that I had just spent £5 in the boots down the road showed reciept and asked could I have 3 skin care vouchers.. The answer was yes...So, had 4 vouchers. Got TE face wipes, Toner, Face wash, and the thermal skin polisher paid excess 250 of my points. I'm very chuffed!
I am trying to avoid my local store as it is a pain! I have been stuck in there lift 3 times in 4 weeks... Its a really silly lift, small, glass, has no internal doors i.e moving wall! and you have to hold the button to get it to move! if you let go you get stuck and have to repress but a few times it has completly stopped and I've had to ring alarm! this is no fun when baby is waking up for a feed!!! I have emailed customer service about it as the store manager recomended me to. Also added what I think of there ACM offers not being any good to me. Will they compensate me with points?
Oh yes... Haven't metioned to them that I haven't recieved my magazine and vouchers! Surely I should have mine by now!??
Anyway, I'm not going to let that bother me now cos I just spent £25 on my baby and ended up getting over £50 worth of goods for me for the sum of £5 and a few points!!! whoohoo!!
:TAlways remember your unique! ...Just like everyone else!:grouphug:0 -

Have you got a spare card (or can you borrow one from a relative or friend) to tide you over/
At least your points are safe.
Hope it turns up tomorrow - though I'd call the store and see first. No point going in person when you can phone to see if it's been handed in.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

cannyscot wrote:I'm not amused by Boots today as all the reduced stuff went through at highers prices and it took me so long to get my money back I missed my train. So do you call Cs and complain or just show your local boots -my local is a tinpot with no ac m/ch and the no vouchers hapened at big ones where I had my ds round my legs shouting about toys /sweets etc
Re overcharging -if this had been Tesco I'd have had all my purchases R&Red today!
For complaints, best to call Customer Care. See if they'll make a goodwill gesture as you missed you train and it wasn't your fault.Oh why can't these Boots people just put a big shelf with MSERs here notice with all the best glitches/reductions etc, it would be much easier. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. jaymac wrote:The boots.com website updates its offers on Wednesdays. I'm always at the puter first thing to see if the offer of the week is anything I want to use my points on - if it's available in store, lots of them are online only!
Let me know and I'll include it in the FAQ.

The Boots at St Enoch center had the avene gift bag thingy,BUT there was a sign that said something like"spend £15 or more on Avene products to get the free bag". I did'nt bother.0
