Has anyone tried to swap the lippy from the lilac bag for another shade?

I remember someone mentioned here they got a really cheap L'Oreal Coleur Experte hair colour a couple of weeks ago, so I've been on a hunt ever since. Haven't found the CE (which is what I usually use), but have noticed that quite a few Boots stores seem to have hair colours on clearance - selected colours only, obviously, but I've seen some nice ones! :D

I managed to get a Garnier Nutrisse for £1.08 - 75% off! Not the brand I normally use, but a bargain for that price! :D

So remember to check those clearance shelves, everyone! They can be in really obscure parts of the store sometimes ;)

I think it depends on the SA if they put the bag through.I am sure from others on here that it does work with the £8.50 BOGOF body firming..You are better to go to a younger assistant who doesn't check everything that is going through..The till thinks that the items should still be £17 and therefore getting the bag but the SA thinks you only spent £8.50 even though the bag would of gone through if she would of tried it..Hope I am making sense...

Yes this is right, it seems that some SA's have realised that the items are bogof and so will not total £15 for the free bag. In theory they are right and are probably not aware that it will work anyway. The problem is that as we know, the £15 total is taken BEFORE the bogof and so we are getting the bags through a loop hole really so we need to be careful about how we go about it.

In this kind of situation I would explain that I understand what they mean but that I would prefer the till to decide the offer as this is what we are always told when the problem lies with us! If the till accepts the offer then they cannot refuse it really, well in most cases they won't anyway.

When getting my lilac bag I put my basket of stuff on the counter and the SA scanned each thing, when she had done this I passed her the lilac bag last and she just scanned it and put it in the carrier bag. I also had the No7 voucher in my pocket, there is no need to attract attention to the fact that you have the voucher as it gives them more time to think you are doing something weird!

The No7 voucher can be used with bogof, it states on the reverse that it can be used with ALL No7 PRODUCTS, there are no exclusions.

advice please, I got 3 packs of the time delay exfoiliator packs during their promotion a few weeks back except now i've discovered im allergic to them and my skin has got really really bad :-( I can't find the receipt either. I have 2 unopened boxes and i set without box. Do you think they will give me a refund for all or is their a better way of resolving this ? Any advice greatly appreciated.

DEFINITELY! better yet, write to them and tell them what happened and how much you have bought. i got a £25 gift card when I had a bad reaction to a product that only cost just over £3!:D

i was told by 3 different people that phone credit cudn't be applied either cos it's not a boots product.seems 2 me that stores make up their own minds wot they're gonna say.

Their returns policy is on the back of their receipts, perhaps ask them to point out the bit in the T&C that states it that it has to be their products - it doesn't!

Me too although I don't make use of all the offers as money is tight so I have to make sure I only pay out for things I need. Having two toddlers means I always need something in Boots. I find now I price things in Boots before I go anywhere aswell as ensuring my other half, parents ect only buy phone credit in Boots.

Going on my first shopping spree tonight, think I know what to look for but my list is so long with all the bargains just in case I need to make up to £10 that it might take me all night in boots alone. Fingers crossed I get the lilac bag and no grumpy sa. Will let you all know how I get on.
