tinkerbell212 wrote:Thanks peeps! By the way, the SA's in my local Boots absolutely love all the creative shopping I do. Makes it a bit easier!! Do find that it is a good idea to build a "relationship" with the SA's!!
The vouchers etc are there to be used. In fact Boots give you them because they *want* you to come back and shop there and *use* the vouchers. Any SA who tries to impede this process does the business no good as all customers will ever think is there's a catch to every voucher and not bother with them.
Who are the SA's to say you can't use this voucher or buy that, if the voucher says you can use it :j if you got it use it. It's not begging or stealing and if Boots don't make money at the end of the transaction let Boots worry about that while you enjoy your products :j :j (maybe feel a little bit of guilt if you hear in the news Boots is not a profitable business :rotfl: )
Never be made to feel like you're begging (cause ur not) and always stand your ground with the Sales Assistants, get them to check things on the till (they can easily do it, they just won't if they're too lazy to, remember they're paid to do it).
Worst I've had happen so far from SA's is a bit of a prolonged puzzled gaze at the receipt looking at how many points i got from the SC face masks.
Oh yes, and the time I got a Reindeer bucket with marshmallow marked at £1, came up at £0.50 on the till and the young lady at the till got really p****d off with another female member of staff cause she had overpaid 50p cause they didn't mark them up right :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Have even seen the bags themselves.. no mention of the products but advertised as if included.. As you I don't agree with incorrect info on auctions, wouldn't do it myself as would hate it to happen to me as a buyer..
Some people just don't read the info or look at what they are actually bidding on properly.. just look at all those that think they are getting the deal of the century for that 'lap top, ipod, mobile' then moan when all they get is a link.. which was stated on auction! Handy Bootsing Tip ~no 1
Wait till the SA has scanned everything THEN take your vouchers out of your pocket and Smile sweetly and say "oh I've got some vouchers!"
Then
If you get a SA saying you cant have -lilac bag with bogof 7.50 or use 250pts with redued or they don't give you £5 No 7 coupon etcetcetc- smile sweetly and say oh i bought exactly the same from ***** Branch and it worked there!

Can someone please help and clarify, braved boots this morning armed with my no7 voucher and acm vouchers and went on the look out and picked up the sun stuff bogof, ended up buying 4 products as the first 2 i picked didnt total £15 as no shelf prices, anyway first it wasnt clear about the lilac bag and the sun stuff but i managed to get nice lady at no 7 to call head office who confirmed i should get it also purchased 6 skin clear mud packs and 2 swim and sun but when i got home i looked at the reciept and tried to tally up the points and it seems that my 150 for £20 spend did go through and the only thing i can think of was the £5 off voucher which took spend to £19 but i thought the vouchers were as good as cash and should therefore qualify for the extra 150 pointsThe more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
