I don't see the problem with eBaying items, its upto the individual what they do with the items.

It's not so much when people ebay their Boots stash, i don't begrudge anyone making a living but seperating the gift bags when you have tried it out first is a bit iffy i think

Same here I agree, once you've paid for the items then its up to you to do what you want with them.. If you don't agree, don't buy.. :D

I was really looking forward to my Boots trip today, planned out with all the precision of a military campaign. And then I got the crabby SA, disguised as a beautifully made up young woman, but she was still the crabby one.

She went through my basket before she even tried scanning anything, removed the Max Factor brushes and the lilac bag, saying that I needed qualifying purchases for those. I let the brushes go, but said that I had the No 7 organiser, and that it was priced at £15 on the No 7 shelf - which it is. She wouldn't even try scanning it!

So all I got was the one bodyform, some handcream for DD, and 4 face masks. And she wasn't happy about that when she noticed, and I am sure she would have loved to remove the points!

My fault I guess, I should have gone when it was busier. I will try again on Saturday morning.

We have a single queue system, so it isn't very easy to choose an assistant, but I may try another counter.

Still, with the points I now have enough to get the No 7 makeup I want, and will get a lilac bag with that - you do get one if you pay with points don't you? Otherwise, I may cry...

I had a problem with two SA's at the Canterbury store too, though it was am older lady and a supervisor. I asked to speak to a manager and she was totally rude as well. I could not believe it, I actually cried which is something that would not often happen so it must have been bad. Anyway I wrote a letter of complaint and got a gift card, a letter of appologie and a phone call to tell me that the store manager was disciplining all involved

true . each to there own i suppose but personally i couldnt be bothered with the hassle , its a dead cert people wouldnt realise that they are small versions and you end up giving refunds, get bad feedback etc ....................................

I went in to my local boots and they had the TD Face mask. First time I had seen it in there.

It was reduced to £3 a pot. I am using one but gave one away to my mum. So got one as it was to much of a bargain to pass up. Got to the till and it took off another £1.01 so it became £1.99 :j

SA asked supervisor stood next to her is that ok. Yes seems we are giving it away. I laughed and said I think it is your tills giving it away. And the SA was so nice saying it was nice to make someones day.

So it seems on reduced TD it is taking off the extra because it is on offer. I was rather surprised by that.

When they get someone to programme there tills correctly we are all going to be lost :rotfl:

Hi! My first trip to Boots this week will be tomorrow! Is there anyone out there who can tell me if the ACMs were working in Chester today? Thanks very much if you can help!

I dont have a problem with people ebaying items-I just hate listings that are, in all likelihood, stretching the truth...

"tried it in the shop" - it was inside the lilac bag!
"only used it once" - its only this <-> big to start with! one use = quite a bit gone...
