  • Funny moment in Boots today. Was stood idly looking at the stuff on the Advantage Machine when a woman swept in to use the one next to me. Didn't take much notice of her until she let out a shriek - turns out she'd put her Debit Card into the machine instead of her Advantage one!
Luckily the machine spat it out again. :D

A warning to us all to be more careful in the future!
  • HI
Just been to Boots to return TS facial wash and body wash as my son has developed an allergy to the product, anuisance after going to the trouble of findind the minis. Never mind... got about £4.50 back as I didn't have a receipt I had an exchange
Tixylix Chesty Cough.( £2.29) Nurofen For Children ( £3.99) and the essential had wash 69p on bogof. I had to pay £2.40 and received 430 points. Mind you when I got home I realised that the nurofene is for children below 10 years and my kids are older will they refund it.?:confused:

Good news - My replacement card came today, all shiny and new. :)

Popped to my mom's and her card had arrived too - now safely in my wallet!

And thankfully, despite being a new card, it seems my spending history has been transferred as I had all the same usual vouchers offered to me. Phew!

Quick heads up for any Bham Tarts who missed out on (or rather need to scoff more of) the Lindor Chocs. They're going for 99p in Great Western Arcade.

BTW - what's all this "10% off everything at Boots" mentioned earlier today? Anyone elaborate?

I bought a couple of things today and certainly didn't get 10% off?

Like you I "borrowed" my daughters card and nothing on the AC for her ... very disappointing  , that's why I went for the children medicines at least I had some extra points, but the nurofen has been a bad buy as my kids are older than what the packet said. I was in a hurry, silly woman

I had 5 bodyform vouchers and there wasnt any in boots i went in wilkinsons next door and brought 5 more packs with vouchers on along with some other bits and they accepted my 5 vouchers :T

I was not buying anything else so that might have been the reason. Or it could be I just got an older SA who wanted to be a jobsworth.

I personally thing she was talking out of her bottom as it makes no odds to Wilkinsons if the product is 99p and the voucher is for £1 as they gave me no change. So they are quids in (excuse the pun)

Will try in another Boots tomorrow to get one more pack as I have 6 packets so they will last a few months.

And the vouchers still have until June to run. At least with Boots you get 3p in points and a 1p back and my penny Jar seems to be getting fatter over the last few days :rotfl:

I "bought" (used vouchers) two packets of body form and no 10% off. And no signs in store. Maybe it is on-line only.

reminds anyone of the Nationwide adverts "New customers Only" :rotfl:

My hubby has become a Boots convert!!! His mum asked him to go and buy her heat pads ( the type that stick on to your skin for sore backs etc). So gave him my advantage card, he bought 3 packets (of 2) at £5.99 each - The SA remarked that was great!! - 600 points and a skincare voucher, which he promptley brought home to lucky me.... He thinks they were Sensik or something like that. I have offered to go any time she needs them now!!!

Found them on the web page - They are Therma Care Self-Heating Back wraps.

    :T :T :T :T
No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
