I got a lad on the tills today who launched straight into a list of moans about how he's lucky to get 8 customers a day on his dead till, how bored he is, how he's better than that and could do with a lot more of a challenge - bless, I hope he finds that stimulating job soon.
I bought lucozade (2x 500ml for 1.19 offer), a POP lipgloss palette (1.00 reduced) and a book for my sister for 0.66 and paid with points. Then I had an Eau Thermale Avéne suncream (F25) for free with my £5 voucher (it was reduced to £4.72). I'm getting on really well with my Avéne starter kit from the previous voucher so was pleased with that 'buy'.
There were some new reduced things put out today, including Hard Candy (most still at £4 - £8.50 though, not as cheap as elsewhere). No idea if they still scan with a £5 discount though.
I had a wander through Superdrug as well today - car in for MOT and not sure whether to go home or not - and it was quite an eyeopener, I realised how blasé I've got about a lot of Boots pricing even if I kid myself I'm not! Superdrug seem to have a very aggressive discount offers policy.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -

I am a newbie money saver and after reading all the freebie tips today was the first time I have recieved something FREE from a shop - I changed my £5 skin voucher (that had been in my purse since the start of the promotion) for a time delay cleansing balm that was reduced from £8.50 to £4.25 so I was pretty pleased with myself - when I have had these vouchers in the past I have just put them in the bin - NOT ANY MORE!!!!!!!0

gosh miss a few days on here and its all change! you have all moved and I see new people too! (hello and welcome all!)
So my news is.. I am off to Boots today to have me free make up lesson and makeover with Lancome, the offer expired on Sunday but the kind lady on the counter said she would honour the voucher as today was the 2st she could fit me in.. So like a good boots tart I have printed off my list of things to look for and bargains to buy... shiny new replacement card in purse (checks to make sure it is... phew yes!) and i am ready to go.. just hope the snow holds off!
Just aquick question.. I have a double points voucher I received with my "pregnant" card.. can I use it and get the points put on my regular card?!? or not?? Also I have received a voucher for a pregnancy free gift bag from boots... is this from the pregnant card stuff.. dont remember anyone mentioning one of those before.. thanks all.. keep up the good work LIVERBIRD and the gang.. we luv ya!
