Umm, is this a water pipe in the house, or are you using very polite language and you are leaking? :o

AM, you have so not chickened out! Me, I am terrified of having a c section and I know that you have put a lot of thought into it and are not doing it thinking it's easy. Good thing is that you now have time to get used to the idea and get prepared. Get the arnica in ;) and fluffy pillows :D

Skinty I answered as to the best of my ability :D (not much I'm not a cat person).

I am so crampy today! All down my kegs and back just like when AF is due.

Good news is that my rudolph device seems to be working :rotfl:

My grandmother is dying. I'm waiting for my connecting flight in Amsterdam.

Easyjet and I against a set of failed kidneys and a broken pacemaker. But it's amazing that my mother called me at 1pm and at 5pm I was on a plane. Heading steadily northwards, I just hope I can get there in time.

Quick easy labour vibes to anyone who needs them.

Greetings ladies... I am studiously ignoring any codes that may have been posted and will assume they have been removed ;) hehehe
Well after a stressed day at work i got to MW for my 3:40 appointment and I had a different midwife!!!! I want her every time she's loooooooooooooooooovely! :D She's exactly what I THINK a midwife should be all about!
Anyway had 1 + of glucose AGAIN grrrrrr not amused! And Roo's heatbeat was hovering at 180-190 and although we listened for about 5 mins it would not go down... so I ended up driving 30 mins to the hospital to be monitored for half and hour and she behaved the whole time!! Little toad! 140 average (even though she refused to stay still for the first 10 minutes and the midwife kept having to move the thingy round until she settled :))
So back home again and husband is still at work and sounds stressed - obviously needed to call him to tell him i was off to be monitored so that stressed him out a bit, and work is obviously being a mare and although he wanted to stay over down there tonight then work wouldn't cough for the hotel so he has an hour and a half drive home later poor boy!

So tomorrow I have to spend 3 hours being monitored (and they take 7 lots of blood here! Is that normal! it's rare that they can get 1 lot out of me! let alone 7 so this could be interesting!!!!)

Right need to go cook dinner and eat as my "cut off" is 9

Sorry to hear it sugar - having had to make the dash home myself to Denmark just before christmas then I know how stressful it is... Hoping she holds out until you can get home and say goodbye...

I'm glad you clarified as I read this several times and thought what is she talking about! I've only just got to grip with foofs and there's already a whole new lingo out there I know nothing about :o

AM - how exciting about your c-section. I would really like another elective one this time too, after my vbac went badly for no 2, but I'm trying to keep an open mind until closer to the time, and maybe I'll feel differently then. My bf though had an emergency c section first time round so opted for an elective this time round. As luck would have it she went into labour spontaneously in the middle of the night before she was due to have it. All that happened was that she called the hospital, they said come straight in, and as soon as she arrived they prepped her for theatre and took her down, so she got to meet baby 24 hours early. So I wouldn't worry about going into labour before the 17th as if her experience is anything to go by all it means is that they'll do the section early, not make you do a trial of labour. In a way, she was relieved it happened that way, as at least it meant baby was fully cooked and ready to come out, even though it was by the sun roof!
