    Afternoon all :D

Well it's been another couple of manic days. Started yesterday in work when I was feeling faint, short story is I ended up getting rushed to hospital as basically my blood pressure is through the roof again.

Saw the midwife again this morning and she's said basically if I have another funny turn within the next 2 weeks she's going to get my consultants appointment moved forward and there's a good chance that I'll be put on medication for the rest of my pregnancy.

So told to stay at home today as my BP was still high this morning and put my feet up so that's what I'm doing and having a cream egg as well to help matters :D

Oh a positive note the mosses basket arrived today, so can't wait for DH to come home now so I can open it for a look.

So time to catch up from yesterday:

Bump was conceived in Orlando, which was really luck as we were due to start tests when we got back as we've been trying for a while, so obviously there was a little fairy dust in the air ;)

tiamai_d – my now usual wake up time is 4.20am and I can't get back until 5 either, I'm with you and praying this is not the sign of things to come :D

Mrs T – Sorry to hear your leaving do didn't go as planned. I'm with you don't bother telling them when the baby arrives, or better still wait until you go in with it and if people start cooing over you make a cheeky comment like, oh interested now are you!

    EA
    – I think your stars are amazing :D

AnnieM – BIG hugs to you

Finally, welcome to all the newbies

That sounds like my life at the moment! (But i won't count on it as contraception - the being too tired to do anything will be a good contraception though!) :rotfl:
This is absolutely normal, she'll get more efficient at feeding soon and will start to go a bit longer between feeds. Well done on hanging in there :D

I'm getting a blister on my thumb from screwing together the chest of drawers... And it's huge... Wider than I imagined it so it's not going to fit in the gap where we were going to put it for the time being (the cot bed is in the designated chest of drawers space but because that's so big, there's nowhere else to put it either) It's going to be like playing furniture tetris in our room later!

On the plus side, our oven is fixed... New element went in about 2:30 and now there is a nice pasta bake doing... Got to eat early, it's house group tonight at my house... I keep forgetting that though!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Eventful MW appointent!

BP was quite high (180/110!) but we decided it was a dodgy machine. Took it manually, and it went down to 170/98, then 170/96. So off I was sent to DAU, wasn't even allowed home.

DAU took BP three times, and it was averaging 130/80, so no idea what was going on! 1+ protein in urine, and bloods sent off.

Trace was fine, a lot of uterine activity. Every time I've been monitored before, its read as 10% the whole time. It went up to 60% today, was very up and down. Not contractions though - what would it be?

OHs phone turned off, so managed to get rushed to hospital without him knowing, monitored without him knowing, and home without him knowing. I could be in labour for all he knows!
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

Did they not say what the 60% thing was? I'd guess at BHs/ 'ripening'
