Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Debt-free and Proud!
Afternoon ladies, Hugs to all in need and a warm welcome to the newbies  .

My lovely DH has just sent me a bouquet of flowers to celebrate our 5 year anniversary of our first date! They are lovely and I filled up when I saw he had chosen the same flowers that we had for our wedding day! I then started reminiscing and reading the emails we sent arranging our first date, it was all so cute and innocent, must admit I had a little blub :o .
He is hopefully finishing work early today, and I am cooking a roast rib of beef and homemade yorkshire puds for tea  . I also have a bottle of non-alcoholic wine chilling in the 'fridge.
    Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set
    Debt free thanks to MSE

 feelie I hope u give ur OH a smack later!! :naughty: he should be by his phone at all times now!
Did they not say what the 60% thing was? I'd guess at BHs/ 'ripening'

I asked about it, and asked if it was BH, but she said I must have just sat up and been moving around:rotfl:

I definitely wasn't though, I was sitting very still. She forgot to put it on, but I asked her to put it on because of the crampy feelings.

    Eventful MW appointent!

BP was quite high (180/110!) but we decided it was a dodgy machine. Took it manually, and it went down to 170/98, then 170/96. So off I was sent to DAU, wasn't even allowed home.

DAU took BP three times, and it was averaging 130/80, so no idea what was going on! 1+ protein in urine, and bloods sent off.

Trace was fine, a lot of uterine activity. Every time I've been monitored before, its read as 10% the whole time. It went up to 60% today, was very up and down. Not contractions though - what would it be?

OHs phone turned off, so managed to get rushed to hospital without him knowing, monitored without him knowing, and home without him knowing. I could be in labour for all he knows!

Bloomin heck Feelie that certainly was an eventful MW visit for you...

Your other half certainly does need a ticking off for having his phone switched off. I hope you get a pampering tonight for that!!!!!

Hope you are okay now though?

Are they like period type cramps? Just wondering as I have been getting these for a couple of days now and notice that I am due shortly after you?

How are you feeling now, Feelie?

Your MW visits are turning into how mine went! My BP always seemed to settle when I got into that comfy chair :D. And the staff knew me by name and also how I took my tea! :rotfl:

Still feel a bit 'under the weather' and still having a few cramps. Had one outside the hospital, actually made me go 'Oooh' outloud.

The do feel just like period pains, at the base of my bump, but also up over the top. I wondered if it was Braxton Hicks, but there isn't any noticeable tightening, but bump always feels pretty tight.

Perhaps things are getting ready for us both Kathy - scary!!

My crampy feelings are under the bump and not really over the top so I wondered if it was more that things i:e the cervix was getting ready? Funnily enough I've had less Braxton Hicks since I started my maternity leave...somthing to be said for taking things more easy maybe? Like you I have a 'tight' bump most of the time...and a hard one as I haven't got any extra padding really...

Scared????? Me???????? Most definately

It feels all over my whole bump now, definitely getting more painful. Sitting down isn't comfy, I'm going to have to lie on the sofa for a bit. I'm hoping it is just gas!
