Well I've finished cleaning the house from top to bottom and it looks lovely :D Time for a quick de-caf and then on to the nursery

I asked "Had my heart set on the silver cross 3D but i'm thinking more now of the icandy cherry or the cosatto cabi. My concern is all I can seem to find are bad reviews for the icandy – has anyone got any opinions on either of these?"
oh I don't know anyone with the cherry or cabi
I had the 3D and I don't like it but SB has it to and loves it :p
I have a cosatto buggy and can highly recommend their customer and repair services, I have a bit more confidence in the quality of cosatto stuff as they bought Zorbit (where I used to work) and took on a bunch of the staff from there and I know the ones that went to cosatto are very nice and care alot about producing good quality stuff
I know people with the icandy apple and pear and only probs I have seen/heard of are on some prams the foamy handle covering came off but icandy repaired it quickly for them and changing from 3 to 4 wheels is difficult but not sure if you have that option with the cherry tho?

sorry not sure if I was any help at all :o

When toddler was born, sis gave me her old prams, but later we bought another pram that can have baby forward or rear facing. Think I'll get rid of both old prams on freecycle, & borrow friend's car seat that goes with my newer pram (she has the same model), & later buy a new buggy. The old ones really have had it &, if I get the HiPG money, it will more than pay for a new buggy. Also member of HSA, so will get another £200 from them, plus MA allowance whilst off work (casual weekend work so don't get SMP).

tarajayne - your OH sounds like mine can be at times! Been moaning at me to do jobs for HIS new business venture, so already poor state of house gets worse, THEN he moans 'cos house is a tip - I can't win!
Promised self I wouldn't get stressed during this pg, untidy house will keep, he'll have to do some of his own jobs, more important to touch base with other pg ladies & chat about really important issues - 'proper' branded cornettos, or supermarkets own brand? Dry cure, smoked or plain bacon for butties? Real Lurpak on bread (cos it's nice) or low-fat version (cos it's better for you)? :rotfl:

BTW weather here is glorious, if rather cold (frost overnight) & DH did take toddler to shop for paper & weekend choc treat, so shouldn't moan!
Teenage DS just getting up, before midday!! Life can't be all bad lol.

    Tara - Men!!!!
Searching - I see :D I personally can't understand why anyone would ever live in a city  I love how a 5 min walk from my house is fields and a pond with ducks to feed but hop on the train (1 min walk away) and in about 10-15mins you're in Manchester with all that it has to offer

I have a friend called Lynsey too wonder if she is named after same person
I remember at college there was a siouxsie as in siouxsie and the banshees :p

Well bubs is 99% deff being called Edgar.
I want Edgar Aled but OH likes Edgar Alan coz Alan is his daddy and its his middle name too. I think if FIL is being in there then my daddy should be too - but I don't like my dad's name :o

I would never choose my Dad's name either even though I love him millions! Even he dislikes ith told me not to use it out of duty :D. Poppy has both my Mum and MIL's names as her two middles though as I knew my Mummy would be over the moon. And I choose my two grandad's names for Jamie so didn't have to use FIL's name either! :rotfl:.

my mother moved us a few times we lived in a seaside town just outside hull called withernsea then my mother met my step dad and with in 6 months they were married and we were moved to york when i was 6 ... then my step dad got a job in london and my mum decided she wanted to move there (no matter how much me my sister and my 2 step bros hated the idea ... she was dodging debt collectors) ... that was when i was 11 then i had zoe at 17 and started to realise london was a bag of poop if you have a family and moved 2 years ago nearly :D x

I don't like my mum's name either so I wouldn't go using that for a girl :rotfl:
My MIL has a fab name obviously (Its the same as urs ;))

only prob I have now is I can't bring up names coz OH will be able to tell that 'it' is a he coz my face will give it away!

The only family names I like are OH's Nan (Rose) which was on our top3 girls names and my mum's aunty is Violet which i like but don't think it fitted with our last name. the only male name i remotely like is my dad's dad Ronald but would be a middle name if used
