There are two guys at work with daughters my age called Lynsey who did the exact same thing as my parents too!
As for Alary, if anyone's wondering, we just saw it on a names website about three weeks ago and just liked it - never heard/seen it before (although I suppose it's a bit like Ellery which I had heard before). Additional benefit of OH's dad being Albert, his grandad who died at the beginning of Dec being Alan, and my dad's middle name being Alan too, so we like the "Al" connection. And the initials RAS0 -
I have a friend called Lynsey too wonder if she is named after same person
I remember at college there was a siouxsie as in siouxsie and the banshees
Well bubs is 99% deff being called Edgar.
I want Edgar Aled but OH likes Edgar Alan coz Alan is his daddy and its his middle name too. I think if FIL is being in there then my daddy should be too - but I don't like my dad's name0 -
What is your dad's name?
Anything you can mix parts of together with bits of Alan?
I'm sure I'll get asked if Alary is something we made up! Apparently it's German for "elf ruler"0 -
My Dad's name is Glenn so we could go for Alenn :rotfl:
I want my welsh name dammit *stamps foot* I actually want to call him Edgar Aled Haydn 'H' OH not amused but i might just do a Louise and just ignore him!
though if he's in this mood much longer I will be sodding off with out him :mad:0 -
AFI = amniotic fluid index
Although what it's actually supposed to be, I have no idea! Results on Google look very confusing and I have a headache already
"Fluid Index(AFI) is traditionally the addition of the four pockets, with the normal range from 8 to about 18.
There are fuzzy limits beyond these two extremes, but generally...
AFI < 5-6 = oligohydramnios (oligo, less; hydramnios, fluid)
AFI > 18-22 = hydramnios or polyhydramnios (poly, much or many)"
so if mine is 15 then thats in the normal range0 -

Do you know what's up with him? Not asking you to tell, just wondering if you know or if it's a seemingly random sulk :cool:0 -
Thanks hun, first place I looked for the full wordiness said

Too many big words for this time of night! I bet Tia will know!
ETA: Ah, makes more sense when you take the gobble-dy-gook out!0 -
The only thing to explain his mood is lack of over time AKA less in his wages.
He also never stops complaining about how little house work I do but frankly - Get over it!!!we've lived together since just before Chris was born and I haven't changed at all in terms of how clean/tidy I am.
the fight we had tonight was triggered by me wanted to talk on here and watch CSI:NY just because he glanced at me and I was looking at the webby screen he decided that I can't be watching it and changed channel - I wouldn't mind if it was something he really wanted to watch but he just flicks through and finds some crap about big machinery or building a sky scraper
I always get told to go watch upstairs but he refuses to because he pays for it  well I'm pregnant and can't get comfy upstairs, I need to be sat in a chair0 -
Tip on the housework front - spray polish in the air just before he gets in.. He'll think you've been polishing all the surfaces
(assuming he doesn't own a pair of white gloves to check!
).
Besides, nothing stopping him helping out, particularly as he's not at work so much now!
Is your insurance paying for all the recent ceiling issues, or is he anticipating a big bill for that?
I'm so thankful for OH's denPlus he doesn't watch UK TV programmes much - usually downloads the American episodes of series which are out first over there.
