EA they will only weigh you once
unless you ask to be weighed I can see in ur pic you ain't a big girl so they won't be bothered its only if you're 'fat' at the start that they watch ur weight
here's that calculator for you http://www.babycentre.co.uk/tools/weightgain/0 -
Actually they haven't weighed me much at the docs or midwife - weighed me first at 8 weeks and next at 30+ weeks - did get weighed at hospital when I went in for a consultant appointment (who decided I was fine to be looked after by MW...)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
I don't like my Doctor :-/
She said that depression can be a side-effect of the medication they've stuck me on, so now I'm incredibly tearful and worried, and its 99% likely that it is all in my head, and I'd have felt fine if she didn't say that!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
I agree Misses, she was overeating and started eating properly so it was more than likely completely healthy as she was still eating a nice balanced diet.
BUT I don't like the fact that this has been reported because too many women would not read the article properly and go on a silly diet while preg.
EA I think you mean 2stone not 2pound
There is a calculator whic I shall go and find for you
PS do you like my new haircut??)
!!!!!! is that in your avvy>?! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Right... guess i really should cut out all the crap from my diet... *sigh*...
healthy eating starts tomorrow - not going to limit the amounts I eat - just what I eat... Need to start my habits from early in pregnancy again and eat carrots when I feel snacky instead of naughty food... bah humbug!
Tine, please don't stress about it too much, you look gorgeous in your photo....and you're only feeding bubs what she's asking for!! She'll be most unimpressed with carrots when she requested crisps!0 -

Krystal - hope brekkie was nice, I'm jealous! Bring some back for me. I could do with a Desperate Dan burger from my parents local sarnie shop (huge bap the size of a dinner plate filled with fried egg, sausage, bacon, tomato and all sorts).Evansangel wrote: »I only have a little star

I've been through two pregnancies in two years on this thread and still no silver for me!. Never was much of a chatterbox!! :rotfl::rotfl:
xxI only had one star when I joined this thread!:Dangela I love you! the amount of people who say I look like I'm due any day now is shocking! Their names are being taken and added to my "maim or kill when I can move faster than a geriatric snail" list!
I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow yay!
I've put on about 2st too... And I don't care really... If you can't give in to your fancies and eat what you want when you're pregnant, when can you?!
Sami, you changed your avi while I was catching up, very confused me!
And I'm off to make last nights lasagne... Not Lasogne like hubby keeps calling it... There's an A in the middle not an O!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks, the website is blocked at work so i'll look when i get home
Aha that pic was one taken like 2 years ago when i was 18, since then i put on a load of weight then lost it all so i look completley different now. I just didn't have access to any sites with pics of me at work, so i googled myself and it gave me that pic lol :rotfl:
But thank you0 -

I had a cheeseburger and chips. After the photo was taken so I'm probably even bigger, sigh.
My doc weighes me at every visit and did this during both of my last two pregnancies. He's never particularly commented on my weight gain though, other than maybe to comment once or twice if I haven't put on any weight between visits towards the end.
I haven't been eating too badly, apart from the burger today, and an occasional indulgence in Cinnamon swirls, so not sure where my bump has come from. I have put on about 7lb over the first trimester, and the scan measurements show that baby is at the top end of average measurements for my dates, but still within expected norms.I suspect I just have abs like floppy elastic bands after 3 previous pregnancies!
