Night night sparkly
The last time higher chairs for newborns were mentioned, did anyone mention the Chicco Polly Magic? (I didn't look at any of the links) I've just seen it in the mag I'm reading..

Thanks for that link - I thought I had it bookmarked but lost it and have been looking for it for ages!
It mentions baby being able to hear loud noises (wk23) - reminded me that the fire alarms set mine off dancing earlier! Best remember that for next week (alarms tested every Mon at 1pm!).0 -

I have that programme recoding and also in the womb-indenticle twins
I'm also feeling clever cos we are doing reproduction at college
And also I just saved 4 DS games that didn't work with a little help from some isopropyl alcohol and a brush
I don't want to think about understaffing. Want to know the worst of it? I am doing a course that is also an intro to nursing and midwiferry, they are telling us not to go for midwifferry as there are no jobs! What the hell? They are also putting up the entry requirements every month right now to the nursing courses. Way to encourage people into the proffesion.

Thought I'd let you know what I had for my tea as it was an unusual one esp for me!
1/4 of Bacon & leek quiche, some "crispy salad" with balsamic dressing, a blob of coleslaw, some chili & lime marinated beetroot and some boiled new potatoes with melted butter followed by a cadbury's choccy trifle and some strawberries, twas all very yummy although the beetroot was a bit too heavy on the chili for my liking
I need to see what to have 2mo, could have the same but with broccoli quiche otherwise need to get something out of freezer trying to not buy any food for tea's this week as things are rather tight now I'm not getting JSA and hubby isn't getting any overtimegood for us as a family because hubby isn't so tired and helps out more, has more time for chris but I miss having the money to spend willi nilly. We're having to wait until HiPG money comes to have car serviced - it all feels very weird I've not had to be careful with money or wait to spend it since OH lost his job almost 2yrs ago and I'm not very good at it

When my sister started her Physio degree they were offering bursary's to encourage people onto the course and had upped the numbers too (as were most uni's doing the course) but when she finished only about 10% of her class could find jobs in the NHS because none of the pct's had the money to create the jobs! its all very well say oooh we trained thousands of physios this year if they aren't able to work at the end of it!:mad:0 -
Sami, Project Budget in Elle_gee Towers starts next week after pay day too.. Got to get rid of my credit card and loan before mat leave and it's getting every closer!
ETA: Nebby question.. why did you have to come off JSA before your MA started? Is your MS starting at 29wks?
Just reminded me, you saying about your OH not getting any overtime. Our guys haven't been either and it's been encouraging them to look for money making ideas.. Does your OH wear workwear with the company logo on and wash it at home? Our guys do and they've found out they may be entitled to claim tax relief on it. It's only a change in tax code so that they can earn about £80 a year more before paying tax (£80 to spend on wash powder!) but some of them have got tax rebates of £300-400 from previous tax years too. Can dig you out some links if your OH does have company workwear..0
