this is exactly how i feel darlin honestly... i get fed up and i want my body back so i can change it x
SOrry sounds a bit rude, but I'm Glad it's not just me :o
I dunno what it is but I see other people and feel so jealous that they are dressed nice and are thinner than me, dont get me wrong I dont want to be a stick insect, I'd be happy to be a size 14, I am going to start at WW as soon as i'm able to after the baby, I've put on nearly 3 stone after having Aston, if that happens again i'll have to be craned out the house.

Ok this may be a long one but I need to get some things off my chest......

I feel really down atm, I cant put my finger on it, of course I'm happy and excited about the baby, but I am starting to really hate myself, I'm snappy and horrible, dont really want to go anywhere or do anything.
I absolutely cant stand the way I look and feel like I dress like a tramp, I know I cant do anything about it right now but I really want to change my whole image when I've had the baby, loose weight, change my hair and clothes, I just dont want to be me anymore :(
I dont think OH loves me, and I dont really blame him, I'm a mess and he could do so much better than me, I feel like he looks at me in discust, and I know he thinks i dress like a tramp.
I dunno, maybe it's because of my big belly, but I just feel vile..... (she says about to eat cheesburger and chips )

I cant afford to have my hair done properly, so I bought some relaxer (chemical straightener) today, and will have to try and cut it myself, I dont want to go into hospital with picky hair.

Sorry for the crap post, i just needed to vent.

    Hormones honey, hormones.

YOU are a gorgeous girl and if your OH recoils because of what you look like while you're carrying his baby, then sod him, he obviously ain't your Mr Right.

I feel like a bag of cack, I've put weight on, I won't go out on my own cos it hurts to walk and I live in my pyjamas. I've told Steve he is paying for me to get my hair cut and coloured when I've had the baby. I'm gonna go for long walks every day with the baby too, to get some of this fat shifted off me. I might even go back to WW.

Steve's taking me to see Lionel Richie tomorrow and I've only got black yoga pants to wear! I don't give a shoite, I'm gonna shake my bump and be proud! :D

P.S. Gizza bite of ya cheeseburger :p

  • AM - so much of what you said rang a bell with me. I just feel fat at the moment, and despite what DH says, I know it's lard (it wobbles!) not sprog...

But don't be too quick to think your OH doesn't love you or anything like that. I don't think men think the way we do. DH doesn't really see the excess weight - if I didn't point it out, I don't think it'd register, and even when I do, he doesn't see it as negative. When I say I'm disgusted with myself and how I look, he just can't understand it and it upsets him a bit to know how I feel.

You may not be able to do anything about your size at the mo, but are there other things you could do to make yourself feel a bit better? I started doing more of a face care regime (before it was practically zero!) and that does seem to help not only with the spots but just to help me get into the day at the beginning and ready for sleep at the end... I don't tend to look after myself too well so I do need to make the effort (am about to have a nice bubble bath though the evening may well end in a takeaway!)

Not sure if it'd help, but if there are small things you could do to invest in yourself, it might just make a little difference, which can then have a knock-on effect...

Wishing you all the best :grouphug: (have a dodgy cuddle!)

Its strange, the whole body image thing. I've had awful self-esteem problems for years, and as a consquence I suffered from bulimia for a while. Being pregnant has been wonderful though, I can't hate my body when its making a baby! I hoping the positive feelings I have will last, and I can use it to lose weight in a safe, healthy and sensible way when I've had the baby. Physically, I was coping fine as a size 22-24 before getting pregnant, but being that fat and having a huge bump has made it quite difficult getting around, so I would like to lose some weight when I've had the baby. I don't mind if the H cups remain though!
