MrsT - we get aggravated with people on ebay sometimes as well. We put a double pushchair on ebay a few weeks ago, and a woman bid on it, won the bid, then sent us an email saying someone hacked into her account and bid and she was refusing to pay for it. Wouldn't be so bad, but when we looked at her history, she had actually won a couple of the same type pushchairs, paid for the one she won at the lowest price and left them good feedback, and then backed out of all the others - 11 of them in total!!! So we reported her to ebay as nonpayer and she got a nonpayment strike, as she obviously lied about her account being hacked. I hate it when people mess others about on there.

  • last night i ordered some huggies wipes from tesco, they were £1 a pack and BOGOF, ive just checked and they are now £2.44 BOGOF, so it must have been a crossover of 2 different offers, even if they dont honour the bogof £1 a pack isnt bad. i only got 4 packs as i have loads from a boots glitch ages ago and we hardly use them anymore. how long do you reckon they will last before they dry out?

  • Sami how much does Christopher tend to drink during the day? and how much milk does he have? My DS Charlie seems to be drinking so much and going through nappies like theres no tomorrow! I'm trying to work out if its just because he likes his beaker or the attention he gets when he brings his beaker to you for more. I've got him off a bottle of milk in the morning he just has weetabix with cows milk and a usually a drink. I've been making his juice drinks really weak as I think he likes the sweetness of them but it'll soon be just water. I don't mind him having loads of drinks obviously but the last few mornings his nappy has leaked and he's soaking wet!

    Morning all

Sorry to hear about the ebay problems.

Dh asked me last week if he could buy a golf bag on my ebay account, not thinking to explain how it worked I handed him the computer and let him get on with it.

Later that night when I logged back in to it, I found 12 golf bags he had bid on

I had to explain to him, it doesnt work like that, and frantically cancel 11 of the bids, thankfully I noticed in time :o

Hope your ebay problems resolve themselves and enjoy your day off Mrs Tine.

Im going shopping today :T I feel like treating myself to some new clothes and get my nails done.

I havent moved out of this house since Sunday and have kept my feet up like a good girl, but I cant take it anymore.

You obviuosly didn't see my post in the parent thread the other day :rotfl:
Chris can down a pint (of weak juice not beer!!) in about 60 seconds flat!!
His nappies are huge and weigh a ton!
I don't allow him juice after his evening meal, he gets a small cup of just water with his meal and then just before bed has a 9oz bottle. I find that if he has juice after tea he wakes up in the night soaked in wee

  • Thanks Sami, I do tend to let him have a beaker of juice with his dinner but try not to let him have anymore after that. Somethimes thats not always that easy! I think that'll be water from now on so if he's thirsty then water is good enough and it'll show if he's just drinking it for the sake of it!

I've got him a large beaker which I'm going to start giving him his nighttime milk from. I don't want Charlie to get jealous for feel the new baby has taken his bottles in case daddy feeds bump, hopefully i'll be BF'ing bump but just in case I want a night off!

I'm a mean Mummy... I never gave Aimee juice, just water... I always figured when she was old enough to ask for juice, she could have juice... Now she's big enough to ask, she still mostly has water or milk, and occaisionally fresh orange if it's in the fridge (all of which she can help herself to aswell!) but rarely asks for robinsons...

JM, if the wipes are still sealed they should last quite a while before they dry out...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
