AF, how about names.. got a shortlist? (not asking you to reveal them tho!)

    I see you're still saying "he" :D

    i always say he :D

not really much further with names, which means i can see our little one not having a name for a day or so. we have one girls name and one boys name, although we are going off the girls name so not sure what we will come up with. i think maybe because hubby knows the flavour he doesnt want to seem to be favouring a sex re names, but he does struggle with boys names
  • Right, we're off to bed. Nite nite, ladies.

    Sorry, I wandered off..

Was looking on the other boards for 1st birthday present suggestions - as an aside, someone suggested saving the Argos books which are out on each birthday then handing them over on the 18th birthday so the "child" can look back and see how things/prices have changed!

Mum's going on a spree for me tomorrow - it's hardly a hardship for her.. can't keep her out of the baby section of any shop these days! Found out earlier she's been to the pram shop with my Grandma to look at the pram we like (I said she could only go after I'd seen it!) and got the full demo - there was my 80yo Grandma taking the travel system to bits in the middle of the shop.. :rotfl:

I'm off to bed now.. Bob [the Bump!] is awake again tho' - I honestly think I'm having an octopus, not a baby! My belly is moving in all directions! :o

    morning all,

hope you're all well:beer:. We're having a run of boy babies in march!:T:T:T

Emlou, about you saying it's painful to sit, I found arnicare cream and ibuprofen gel and sitting on frozen peas all worked wonders!
Helped for DH to apply the creams...

Today Fergie has his hearing test so we're walking to that should be a good 20mins in each direction plus the weight of him in his carrier, so I feel like I'm gradually building my fitness back up! Walked 3 miles yesterday with DH and me with F in his sling.

    hi ladies,

trying to catch up so reading back through the pages.

can i just ask................is clear mucas the start of a 'show' or does it have to be pink or tinged with blood? had a bit this morning and then some tonight. no other signs other than a few niggles/pains here and there but nothing to make me think things are starting.

i'm booked in for a sweep on sunday at hopsital and then induction on tuesday. have had a nightmare with hopsital/midwives over the last week or so so has been getting me down.

surprising myself and have very much enjoyed not being at work.

Mel - what a gorgeous boy and thanks for your birth story.

MFD - thanks for the tip re boots maternity pads. i have a few packs of theirs mixed with hopsital ones, but if i need to get more, will go back to boots.
My show had a streak of blood in it.
But you know that you can have a show and not go into labour for like a week anyway.

Day off Day off Day off WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO

Getting a little narky about people on Ebay - won that huge clothes bundle and mailed the seller to arrange picking it up and not heard a thing yet... Is it just me who always keep an eye on my auctions and immediately send invoices and reply to buyers?
And then there is the buyer who won an auction on sunday - £50 worth... who still haven't paid GRRRR Hasn't even bothred to reply to my mail either. Problem is that I can't go dashing to drop it off for posting just any day - was hoping to have sent it latest today but looks like the next shipping window for me will now be Friday and it's really annoying me now...

  • Hi all!

Morrissons are currently selling its own brand newborn nappies (28 pack) at 2 for £2, ive had a look around and its seems to be quite a bargain, does anyone know roughly how many packs i will need in the newborn size?

Morning, How early am I up!?!?!

JM - I've got in total about 15 packs of size 1 nappies, I'm not 100% that I will use them all but I got 10 packs in the boots glitch and the others are freebies or one I bought to get freebies like the boots changing bag ;) SB has had no trouble previuosly swapping a few packs here and there in Asda with out a receipt but they have all been branded ones so not sure how good morribobs are at swapping
