Just back from hospital. We had a fantastic scan! Baby refused to get into quite the right position for all the measurements so we got to watch him or her for a full half an hour, waving, sucking thumb and doing cute frog impressions with the legs, before she could get all she needed.

Here is the pic:



So excited, and can now breathe (and tell people officially), now that the 12 week mark is here!

Ickle the pic is great, and I have to say I thought you would be bigger at 30 weeks !!!

Nicki the scan looks great, glad you got a full 30 mins of looking, I think I got about 5 at my 12 week scan, but bubs played ball and showed everything he/she needed to to get measured so once that was done I didnt get to see much else !!!

Mel,lovely story,well done, I had my son at home and also had a student midwife attend as it was her first one! Congratulations once again xxx

I am off work today (and yesterday) with the cold. Been getting a lot of congestion since being pregnant, and lots of nosebleeds. I could have gone into work today, but thought I would take another day off to recover. Plus it means I can keep up with everyone here better than trying to read it all when I get home!! Back to work tomorrow so it will be back to minimal posts.

Anyone else suffering from nosebleeds?

I have had a cold and everytime I blow my nose there is always blood on the tissue - never a proper bleed tho. Someone asked me if I had put my red pen on my nose earlier and then said no its a bit of snot!!! :eek:

That is so cool 30 weeks on your 30th birthday. I am going to have to figure out if I am going to be 30 weeks on my 30th birthday (19/07) :rolleyes:

Mel - your little boy is gorgeous, role on the 3rd November.......... Plus thanks for your BS as this is my first time I have no idea what to expect and it helps a lot.

Nicki - lovely pic of your scan - I can't wait to hit 12 weeks and tell everyone just another 4.5 weeks to go *sigh*
