Run LSPFIX

Then Download HostsXpert

and then follow the below steps.

* Unzip HostsXpert.zip
* It will create a folder named HostsXpert in whatever folder you extract it to.
* Run HostsXpert.exe by double clicking on it.
* click the Make Writeable? button.
* click Restore Microsoft's Hosts File and then click OK.
* Click the X to exit the program


Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)

Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)


reboot

Download GLARY UTILITIES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW' ~ UNTICK the ASK toolbar on installation)

Run the ONE CLICK scan

AVG is clearly still running in the log (Which is probably the main cause of the problem so far as I can see)
Ill wait to see how its running but I have a theory to remove AVG.

Hi, have done all the above LSPFIX said no problems, the pc is running loads better than it was nothing popping up anymore or being annoying, will get the memory upgrade sorted, I have now running on here.

Avira antiviras
spybot search

is there anything else i will need,

Thank you for all you help i realy do appreciate all that you have done, i couldnt of done this on my own.

4 days? format/reinstall, is this in relation to some AOL files, AOL did an update yesterday but i didnt know which files where updated sorry.
