Surely if it was there on exchange, you would expect it to be there on completion?
When I bought my house I had the opposite problem, as it was an unused farm, I was left with manky old sheds and a pigsty!!
I can really understand how you feel, it's like someones ripped you off.
Expectations and all that.
Hope you got the house at a good price.:T0 -
Our surprise looks like being the opposite: the list from the solicitors says dryer but not washing machine; when we were round today to talk about the surveyor's report, I discovered that the washing machine is also included. Will make sure that's corrected in the paperwork - I think that we'll have more luck selling second hand dryer if it comes with a washer!Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

We got lucky in the fact that our house was sold as seen so it doesn't have a fixtures and fitting list. I did go round taking pictures of everything though. It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0
