happy Mogchops this morning!!
So much more relaxed now!
Lovely Chinese last night, very tasty, and excellent girlie company, we didnt stop talking and had a real laugh, just what I needed. Yes it cost me £22, but it was worth every penny!
Onwards and upwards now, really got no money left till Friday payday, but on the good side - I dont need anything till then, just got to stop DH being grumpy coz he cant buy coke & frothy coffees!! :rotfl:
Also got a job done yesterday afternoon that should have been done 3 weeks ago - younger DDs thank you cards from her birthday! So she & I sat down & made about 30 cards (well - I did most of it & she signed her name!!:p ) But its job done - nice feeling when jobs done!

Am sooo jealous of your Chinese feast last night Mog! I'm back on Weight Watchers (again) so had v boring jacket potato with tuna!
Anyway, well done on getting the cards done - ticking things off lists is among the most satisfying feelings ever! I listed my first 5 things on ebay last night. I've never done it before and it took me AGES! Still, hopefully I'll have time to get the rest on this week. Exciting! :j

Ah but Ruby - I have been following Weight Watchers points for the last year, & have just about reached my target of 2 stone lost - and more importantly, am maintaining it!! So a little Chinese doesnt hurt!!
Well done on the ebay listing - I really need to get round to that! Got so much junk kicking around!
Good luck with your WW too!!0 -
re. the coke for OH
mine also likes his coke - don't know why, it only rots his stomach;) - and we get 12 packs of pepsi all the time from farmfoods for only £2.35 ie. less than 20p per can x0 -

Oooh 2 stone! That's great, well done you! I've lost weight on WW a few times now but as that would suggest, maintaining it is my real issue. I've now got about 2 stone to lose again - boo!
I'm aiming for an NSD today - left my pack lunch at home but then remembered I had points on my Boots card and used them to buy lunch. A close shave there!
Have a great day :jSealed Pot Challenge 2009 # 650 (target £150)Long Haul Supporters # 158 debt free 2014Member of the Blondettes :beer:Debt Free Date: doesn't bear thinking about!0 -
:j :j Pay Day!!! :j :j
First payday since joining site, so have carefully apportioned the money and put it where it needs to be!! Very nice feeling!!
Credit card transfers all gone through now, so the MBNA is clear and dead - will write & close that over the weekend. So we now just have Nat West (on 0% till October) and Tesco. Need to get DH to ring Tesco (its in his name) to reduce the credit limit down now the balance has come down with the transfer. :T
No work today (Dont do Fridays!! Nice!) Doing a mystery shop this morning - another £10as well as big Tesco shop - but got a very detailed list and do not intend to deviate from it!
Nice few days coming up too - we're out tonight for a meal with dad & stepmum for their anniversary - and they're paying :T its a murder mystery dinner, am really looking forward to it! And tomorrow we are out again for a 30th birthday party - its within walking distance so no taxi, & there will be a buffet, so no meal to worry about tomorrow night!!
Funny - we hardly ever ever go out - and here we are 2 nights on the trot! DDs are staying at my mums so they're happy too!
Oh and then Sunday we go to pick up DDs from mums she's cooking lunch! I love my mum!!
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Been a lovely weekend so far!
Murder mystery dinner on Fri night was fabulous, we had such a laugh, was really good fun! Teeny weeny hangover yesterday morning though.....:o But it was worth it!!
Yesterday - another lovely day, planted more seeds - broad beans this time. Really intending to do as much veg as we can with limited garden space!
Out again last night for a 30th party, not so much to drink this time - hence up early with clear head!! :rotfl: Missing my lovely DDs though - they are at my mums, going over there before lunch. Mind you, they've not missed us - they've been having a ball!!
Money situation all pretty good- both nights out were cheap, & no cooking today - eating at mums! hehe. I will do the washing up though!!
Need to do a meal plan for the week....will do that later.0 -
Meal plan for the week written, stuck on the cupboard and being adhered to!! :T So far so good! And dont need to do any more shopping for it!
Off work for a couple of days as got an inner ear viral infection, is making me dizzy & lose balance, so am not allowed to drive! Dont mind the couple of days off work though! :rotfl: Good chance to catch up with housework while there is no-one to get under my feet!
We have been planting more seeds - and got a compost bin from freecycle, DH has taken charge of it, I think its going to be his "thing" , fine by me! :rotfl:0
