Er, they are. I know villages in Cornwall where 40% of the houses now belong to people who pop down for a holiday, and the cottages change hands for 15 times the average local salary. Of course the post office has shut, the village school has shut, and the local kids have had to move away, but hey, as long as people get their holidays...Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0

they are allowed to buy in certain areas.
it is to stop people inflating the house prices to such an extent that people who wish to live in the area are not priced completely out of the market.
a little bit like what tony blair and gordon brown didnt try doing for the rest of the country... acting responsible for the long term success of an areawhat is the plural of moose?

Try Keithley. 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

I know people who were born in London who can't afford to buy a property there because lots of people from all over UK, including Cornwall choose to go and get jobs there and buy properties.... doesn't seem fair really does it?0 -
