  • managed to get through! 14.19pm! after about a million refreshes. and yes, i'm entered into the ''draw''. seriously...

    same for me...

Me too. It clearly states you have been entered in a draw so I would guess they will sift them before allocating. In which case as I dont live there but work and eat out there more than most Londoners,I dont hold out much hope.

    Bit of a con really

Managed to get the entered into the draw page at 14.06 .. hoping this was enough time... yes, I think one of us should email asking if it said first 2k, why the draw... maybe it's just a misuse of the word 'draw' ?

I think it is simple cheekiness! If this is case, I certainly will be complaining
They, legally, cannot tell you you get it systematically but then when you log on they change their minds & say it's a draw

absoulte waste of time...MSE should reconsider sending these kind of emails out when they know that thousands of people will try to log on the website and they havent verified that the host site can not tackle this sort of traffic....when MSE know that they have this kind of popularity they can not just say "its not my responsibility"....

extremely annoyed at the waste of time.....

If they didnt send the emails out then we wouldnt all get the chance to try .........surely much easier for you not to bother next time?

I entered my details, it came up with "you've been entered into the draw." I thought it was first come first serve?

I got the "you've been entered into the draw" message, again I thought it was first come first served though I bet there's a line somewhere in their small print saying it's not the case. Oh well, at least I can expect a whole load of junk mail coming through my door as it's probably a marketing scam.

If it's a draw, can we enter as many times as we want?

Good question. I entered again after Jo said that no one got through earlier but I don't want to be disqualified for entering too many times!

Yeah...seems a bit of a joke to me. I also managed to get "entered into the draw"....after about 15 attempts!!!

And there was all of us thinking it was first come first served. Bit of false advertising maybe if they've changed the rules....

Ya, very poor job by TasteLondon. They conveyed a completely different message before. If all they wated to do was a draw, they should have kept it open for a day or two...

As I type this, my application is also successful and I am in the draw now.

Had I known that it is going to be a draw, I would have never waited for this so eagerly. Also, MSE should have tried to know the real thing before.
