Post Office CC credit limit ?

Anyone applied for one of these recently and advise how lenient they were with their credit limit.
We applied for one two weeks ago, and are still waiting to be told what the limit is.
Blasted pin arrived today, but it is the limit I am really after.
I know the letter will probably arrive tomorrow, but I also know that if I don't ask, then the postman will be giving me a miss tomorrow (just my luck)

It's not an exact science of course but, judging from feedback here, you're more likely to get a generous credit limit with the Post Office than some lenders I could name.

Very best

I've got a limit of £4000, not that I'd use it though. Had it for about 6 months.0

How about calling the new applications dept ? They'll be able to advise your credit limit now.

My PIN from them arrived today too. I called them and was told I had been given the classic card with a limit of £2,400.0

Mine was £5100, just finished the 0% so limits might have dropped since I applied a year ago. HTH.0

Older customers are seen as being more reliable and less of a risk to lend to.
Note: some lenders will not consider applicants for various periods following an unsuccessful application and anyway, unless your circumstances have changed radically, it's probably unwise to apply to the same firm twice. It's not as though there's a shortage of cc companies out there.
