What a name , is it a treatable condition?

There is quite heavy snow here atm, hopefully it will just go away :rotfl:

Choille, very glad its benign, if not particularly pleasant.

Temperature has dropped, as has a lot of hail and sleety stuff so that streams are flowing on the village roads.

Last winter one of our neighbours thought we kept the hens too covered up, and this year we tried leaving the run more open for a while, the net result being they stayed in the coop to get away from bad weather. After a few weeks we reverted to top and side cover, immediately they were out more, sheltered from the wind and rain.

DW hands in her notice tonight, so its Del Boy & Girl Enterprises soon :D

Been a hectic few weeks as we've stepped up sales, its showed where we need to improve....paperwork especially :(

Looks like we should now qualify for Ebay powerseller status at next assessment, but it may be delayed until March as we tried to sell a 1917 empty 18 pdr brass shell case on Ebay in December, only to find we had inadvertently breached their firearms policy . Mea culpa, should have checked policy more thoroughly

First narcissus blooming. Did I mention I saw a bat flying last month?

We have bats which roost in one of our rooves. They don't seem to bother coming into the roof space itself but just hang out in the section over the thick old walls.
I'll keep my eyes open to see if any are out & about but I'd be really surprised at this time in the year around here.

Good luck rhiw (& dw) on your new venture

Oh, the old rocks in the ear, choille. Have they got you sleeping propped up or is that old-fashioned now?

Turned very cold - forecast snow but still dry here - now that's novel.

rhiwfield - how exciting for you both - I wish you well. I think you could appeal the firearms thing - see the sorta gangstas you meet on here eh?

Well at least the TLA has a nice ring to it! So glad it's not Meniere's which one of my colleagues contracted. That wasn't good.

Good luck with the new enterprise. :)

ATM I am very jaded about everything, especially paperwork! :(
I'm no further forward with my Catch22 tax problem, because I lack a vital number. Now, the company I bought the tax software from won't send me the code to unlock it, nor will they answer their 'phone. Their web site says they are responding in around 45 minutes, but it's been more than two days......:mad::mad:

Anyway, tomorrow I'm going out for the day, and b*gg*r the lot of them! What will be, will be.

In other news, the local vet, who plays the villain in our Panto, came up with a great line last night. After being told his punishment for being so evil, he cried, "Oh no, anything but that! ....except maybe spending the whole day with my arm up cow's bottoms!" :rotfl:
