Knowing that 'popty' is a bakery, I'm going to have a wild stab at microwave......or maybe fast food shop. :)

Edit: Have now Googled and discovered that I'm right for the wrong reasons, because popty is 'oven.' I was just working from personal experience of visiting the bakers in Lampeter called 'Y Popty' :o

You got it, the oven that goes ping. Superb!

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one wanting to learn another language while looking for a property to settle in. We're going to Spain next year so I'm learning Spanish, and I'm doing a language course in the car on my way to and from work. It's about 40 minutes a day, and it's definitely working. I'm lucky that my job involves speaking to people who already know the language, via email and occasionally on the phone. So it's proving very useful and my main contact is encouraging me to chat in Spanish, as long as the work is discussed in English!

We saw lots of bats in Crete on honeymoon last month, they came down quite low to about 10 feet above the ground. I could have watched them for hours.

  • Just come back from work, another vintage fair tomorrow, so the van is all packed up and ready to go...

need to do some batch cooking this afternoon, Kids are on half term next week, so def need to get some meals in the freezer for htem.

on the final lap so to speak with the land...even though there are major problems going on with our factory landlord... we have decided to hell with it, and still carry on with the purchase of the land..

Sooooooooooooooo it will be EXTREMELY tight for the next year or so, as i have also got to pay back money i borrowed from my parents to go towards the deposit...and pay the mortgage on the land...

So i have set ourselves a very ... VERY tight budget....so whats new:rotfl:

somebody suggested that i planted variegated holly.. around or in parts of the boundering hedging/fgencing, so i could take a crop of holly to sell every year...

any ideas on where to buy, and a nice variety? plus do you know, or have you seen any being sold in the past, and what type of prices did it bring per bunch etc

Been cold here this week.... and even though it is warmer today, i am still flipping cold...

Sorry folks, I'm not around much atm because I have a sick computer and I'm not so good myself. I have injured/infected my elbow joint by leaning on it on concrete while trying to fix the ride-on. :(

Well, what are elbows for? :rotfl:

Thinking of you all, especially CTC. :) Will be back as soon as the bloomin' computer can be sorted properly.
