Well CTC knows how to travel but not incognito. Is that camels or llamas she's transporting?

Well the cloud appears to have lifted slightly. What rain for 3 weeks now......
Off into Ullapool this morning - Hopefully weather will be dry later today - surely cannot rain anymore?

    Definitely camels. ;)

Sadly, it looks like the Bank Holiday will be a bit of a washout all round. I'm sitting here shivering this morning, unable to believe that we turned the Aga off over a month ago.

Oh, its still warm enough for me, well wrapped up of course. Imagine if we'd had this dry, this wind AND the sustained heat! everything would be shrivelled up.

This house comes into its own in the heat though being such an excellent cold trap!

Glad you made it with the tender.:)

It's turned into a nice day here, so I've been on grass cutting, because once those holidaymakers reach us, it will turn drizzly. ;)

funny how its brightened up tonight. I've watered a lot today and spotted a lot of ground elder creaaping back, so that's a definite job for. Also time to check the seed box and see what else we can get started.

:p I thought that, but wasn't impolite enough to say anything.:D You may notice that the vehicle in question is definitely across the solid white line and he's in a built up area with a phone in his hand, taking a photo.
Pretty sure that would be a solid 6 points in court :rotfl:

Rained most of the day but decided toplant trees I had in pots that I tried selling at the gate last year & became a pest to wheelbarrow them up there each day. So stuck them in next to the road - anyhow coz the deer'll probably eat em.

No joiners coming at the weekend as it's bad - 100mph winds forecast for Sunday - gosh it's been a rubbish 3 weeks now.
Managed to get another beam done so they're ready to get up & nowt much else.
Sunday going over to the east for lunch with pals & a good quiz at him about money raising as he's an accountant.
