Hi everyone - and very happy returns of the day to you MrsA2B!_party_

    1) Scratch x 10p
    2) 2 Piggy click-throughs ( 2 points off a voucher!)
    3) Received my latest Approved Food order. Really pleased with that, but very little room to put anything.
    4) Gave T the huge box from order. He was thrilled as he likes to sit in boxes.
    5) Recieved nephew's bday present, paid for with survey vouchers. Also Mum's Mday book from Green Metropolis which is immaculate. So glad I didn't buy it new now!
    6) Got Mum a handmade Mday card from charity shop for 50p.
    7) Got a few other charity shop bargains, including a load of Lego for £3. It is currently soaking in a bucket with Stardrops:D
    8) Went to playbarn and used season ticket.
    9) Made packed lunches for tomorrow.

I've just got back from B's Parent's evening. The teachers all had really high praise for her, I was sooo proud!

    Have a good evening everybody.

This is such a fab idea!!

I haven't done much today but I did:

    Check my online banking
    NSD
Yesterday I made a roast chicken dinner and used the stock to make soup, which I've had for lunch, tea and prob lunch again tomorrow
Goals for 2010 - pay off £3160 debt. Come on Pamela!
  • Hi all,

Today i got a mothers day card for 50p in the local co-op as it was on offer should of been £1.89.

In tescos they had boxes of cadbury roses truffle selection should of been £3.89 and they were reduced to 89p.

Also used a double necter points voucher at the bp garage which will add up.

    @ Cleosmum - What's the job?

Maternity Auxiliary :j Oooh Ive always wanted to do it but its something that rarely comes up, in the past they have always come up when Ive been heavily pregnant, so never applied before. OH thinks Im mad as its rotational day/night, but Im sure I would get used to it?!
  • I'm guessing it's the 'why should we give you this job?' section you're struggling with. You could put about the experience you've gained through having kids of your own, any medical training you've got and any similar work you've done in the past. That's all I can think of at the moment, hope it helps.

Thanks Kayleigh, will put all that, also going to include personal experiences like being with friends when they have given birth, and also my experience of supporting friends and relatives with breastfeeding and the early days.
