    Hi all

Monday again but look upon it as a new beginning and not the start of another longweek.

    Sermon over!

    Today

I will pay £10 into savings from my copper and 5p jar.
Showered using hotel shampoo and soap gained on recent trip.
    Read newspapers online.
    No spend day.
    Check bank and savings balances.
Driven slowly to save fuel( I see they are looking at reducing speed limit from 60 to 50) Good money saving ploy that one for the population at large, I am regularly overtaken by gas guzzlers doing up to the ton.
Stay in tonight and do French homework.
Take a walk in the wind and cold at lunchtime.
Sweet treat from sweets collected free in Cologne.
Lunch is left over of Sunday lunch including a wedge of cake!
I am wearing my Marie Curie flower which I donated £1 to on saturday. Money well spent, I am running a 10k for charity soon so it makes me feel good to give as well as receive.

I am sure there are other things but that'll do for now.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning All,

Still itchy - thanks for the advice SM. Have taken an anti-histamine this am - hope it works!

SM - well done on the weight loss - I really need to get on that wagon!

MrsA2B - Happy Birthday  Have a great day!!!!!!

YB - Congrats on the win! Shame it wasn't the jackpot - there's alway next week.

Went out for a lovely lunch yesterday but it was £60 for me and OH! Need to completely review the budget now!

I also spent £40 on getting my mum's jewellery extended. It's my mums and I can wear it for my wedding instead of buying a whole new set at ridiculous money. The woman in the jewellers said it wasn't in fashion - pah to her - I love it and have had my eyes on it for years!!!

    My list for today is:
    • Vacuum living room, hall and stairs
    • Read article for studies
    • sort stamps for sending to charity DONE
    • type up notes from last week and email to tutor
    • List 5 books on Amazon DONE
    • review budget
    • update spending diary (it's now in handbag after going AWOL!)
    • A few beauty tasks - saves money at the beauticians!
    • Email friend at volutary job to update him on issues while I was away DONE
    • Call fellow trainer at voluntary job to arrange a meeting to go over material. DONE
    • Charge phone/ipod at work DONE
    • Put away clothes and make living room look pretty
    • Brought in lunch and snacks DONE
    • storecupboard dinner DONE
    • loaf in BM tonight
    • copy insurance docs for downstairs neighbour DONE - AND HAVE ASKED HIM FOR HIS SHARE
Have a great day all - hope this sunshine lasts.

    Morning all!
    Happy birthday Mrs A!!

After a hectic weeknd of celebrating and then recovering I have finally decided to get on with the pre wedding diet. I'm off to SW tomorrow to assess the current damage and get some motivation but there's only 6 months to go until the big day so it has to be done now..

    Anyway, today I will/have...
    • Had diet breakfast at home
    • Brought lunch to work (diet version)
    • Walk dog for free exercise
    • Take other doggie to vets as a favour to nice little old lady
    • Only spend £1.20 (2 cans of pop - diet of course!)
    • Have cupboard stuff for tea
    • Put washing away
    • Stay in and watch the soaps and 24
    • Only 4 more days to pay day so will move any leftover money into other account that will go towards paying off a loan early
    • Look for money off voucher to get SW membership cheaper
    • Do new meal plan to accomodate the diet:mad:
That's it for today - have a good day!
