Happy birthday MrsA, at least you have got it off work, even if you are ill!! Have a great day
Yorkshire belle, congrats on small lottery win
Urg, ignore the lady in the shop, who cares about fashion, its the sentimental value and love you feel towards the piece not how fashionable it is!
London was excellent and vibrant and lots of fun, although it was kind of spoiled by problems with three of the tube lines and my friend who spent the whole trip moaning and i do mean the whole trip!! We went and saw Blood brothers which was fantastic and we got tickets for £21 each, which i was happy with. Used pcone vouchers for most of our food and then went to a restaurant on the saturday where we used tesco clubcard vouchers, so not much money spent at all.
London zoo was also great except my friend decided she didn't want to walk around so i looked most of it on my own and she was moaning because there were no pandas or it was too cold on the river cruise. Could have throttled her by the end of it.
I really loved it though and although i didn't get to do all the things i wanted to do, i have already started planning my next trip!!
I will do my list when i get back, i was so busy catching up with other people's posts i have ran out of time. Off to go see a client!

Afternoon all
Happy birthday MrsA - have a great day!!
Urg - ignore the silly moo in the shop. As long as YOU like it, thats all that matters!
Am determined to get myself sorted this week. Been feeling snowed under and feeling sorry for myself. But this week I WILL get the things done I've been intending to do for weeks! :rotfl:
* Check on-line banking - done
* Do Mrs Mop job - done
* Do meal plan for week
* Do "to do" list for week
* Washing at 30'c - then basket will be empty ! (for all of 2 seconds!)
* Airer drying as loks decidedly dodgy out there today
* Storecupboard dinner
* Ironing later....pah!
Thats it for today!
Miss P

Andan, oh dear the joys of London travel! I travel up to Westminster every shift, sometimes our control room in Camden near the zoo. Its regular for most hte tube lines to be out at weekends so i end up driving. Terrible getting to work, circle and district lines are the worst!
Glad you got to go to the zoo even if your friend was a pain!
Ive just had a big clean up in the kitchen, now listening to LBC online and doing my uni work still.Debt for Tallie - JUNE 2009NATWEST LOAN......5000.00CREDIT CARDS........5000.00STUDENT LOAN.......7500.00TESCO CARD..........1000.000 -
Today I have / will:
- Checked online banking
- Updated spreadsheets (very pleased with minimal spends over weekend)
- Brought my own lunch
- Going to friends for a yummy free tea (and all the better because someone else has cooked it!)
- Saved some survey vouchers to buy a magazine later. Wanted one at lunchtime but it was the wrong shop so I just got a free one from the supermarket.
- Won't have heating on at all this evening.
