Not if the T&Cs are deemed excessive. Do you feel everyone reclaiming and receiving their bank charges are wrong too?0

Why are so many people posting the same comment "you should have checked"? I don't think the OP started the thread to be told they should have checked the tariff. I'm sure the OP has learned their lesson on this. This could of happend to anyone that doesn't understand about communications bandwidth.
Like someone else said, software like Windows Update, Anti-Virus can do regular automatic updates without the user knowing, I have had windows updates in excess of 100MB before.
To those people: put yourself in the OP shoes, how would you feel if you came here for help and just got kicked whilst down?
The only thing you can do is tell Orange the tariff was unclear, full of technical jargon and not explained well enough, to try to get the bill reduced.
Good luck!0 -
While it won't help the OP, the moral of the story is always check roaming charges before traveling. For voice, data and SMS. You cannot say you were not made aware of the charges when they are clearly displayed on the website, and would have been given to you following a brief phone call to your network provider.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. You have my sympathy. DD has a roaming service, she`s a student. She used 10% over her monthly allowance and it cost her an addional £30.0
