Back safely from dentist's, although still too numb to risk a cup of tea and I'm really thirsty!

Everyone seems to be working hard today!:hello:

Jo -'stuff that doesnt actually have a place to go'- yes, me too!! It was quite a revelation when it finally dawned on me that the reason the house was drowning in clutter was because a) we had too much stuff and b) we didn't have the right storage for the things we wanted or needed to keep! That's why I couldn't ever clean properly and quickly because I spent most of my time re-locating. I've been working on that since. It may encourage you to know that the main bedroom took me a year to get clear enough to decorate and fit new wardrobes! It's not finished yet, but well on the way. My easy rooms are the kitchen (1 hour to do), livingroom (30 mins - well, nearly there, just one bookshelf to fit), and the bathroom (30 mins).

mine is too full or rubbish too not enough proper storage space for the amount of clutter i have

i spend all my time moving the mess around rather than putting it away and cleaning

Thanks xx-Jo-xx may take you up on that,we need to sort money out for her at some point she was doing a Hairdressing apprenticeship but dont think she will be able to keep this up,she wants to go back to it afterwards but dont know how that will work although childcare for her wont be a problem.

Sorry Pigpen I know its not strictly the weekend.

I am dreading telling my mum she always has such high ideals for her.

You got it in one. I'm not p*ssed off he is out just the lack of a call or email to say he was going. Trying to drum it into 15 year old at the moment that when he goes to the golf club he is to come back when he says not just wander in at some time after dark - not exactly being parented by example!

I dont think it matters if your a mum or not........ they go from sept 08 - dec 09 (i think!) xx

It runs to December. They're on sale at the mo - ordered one with a leather cover - in Raspberry so I can see it easily in my hb. They are really good - detachable shopping/to do lists, address book, week to view, each month has a full view page too, stickers (ok, so I'm not going to use the kids ones, but Drs, dentitst apptmts etc, yes...) space for notes, and room at the back for receipts. It's like my HCJ but handbag sized! And no, I don't work for them :D

Book is pants, so I'm back!

ETA: mo5, just read your news. Thinking of you. Have a (creepy)hug...:grouphug:
