"Jumping" CD/DVD player

Good evening all

Have just installed a new DVD writer in to my PC and tested it by playing a few audio CDs.

Problem is; the sound kind of 'jumps'. Imagine, singing a song and thumping your chest at the same time().

I have tried to trouble shoot and have the latest driver installed. Still no joy.

It's a Pioneer DVR-116DBK 20x Internal IDE DVD+/-RW Drive / Black.

Would appreciate your help please.

Thanks

    worm ~
they all say "No action taken" next to them in the malwarebytes log

im afraid youll have to rescan (Try a QUICK scan though)
    • When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
    • Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
    • Back at the main Scanner screen, click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
    • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    • When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad.
    • The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
    • Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.

best reboot (If you havnt already) and runa fresh hijack log
If youve ALREADY done that then FIX this using hijack (TICK it and click to FIX) ~
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://mysearch.myway.com/jsp/dellsidebar.jsp?p=DK

Download SUPERANTISPYWARE (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_superantispyware/
    UPDATE and PERFORM COMPLETE SCAN

Hijack log looks fine apart from the one I posted to FIX
But you must take into consideration that Mcafee is generally a bit cr*p at finding nasties and is clearly no good at all with malware like MYWEBSEARCH (Of which your infected with)
