tesco have on offer whole chickens £3 at the mo....:T

and before the chicken and egg freedom fighters get their knickers in a twist they have the red tractor logo on:j

    That won't stop them. The chicken has a red tractor but the deTRACTORS have a juggernaut, it seems, if the last Cheap Chicken Thread (TM) is anything to by. Good spot.

    I've made a personal choice to buy happier chickens & if need be eat less.

    However I would never slate anyone on a budget with a family to feed for cutting their cloth according to their measure.

    I would like to see these better standards the norm & hopefully it will bring down the price of free range.

    In sainsburys at the moment freedom foods chickens are cheaper than the normal ones. For some reason people still buy the normal ones. Weird.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    I wish M&S would do an offer like this, I much prefer their Oakham chickens, but only buy when there is an offer on.
    Good deal though for a family meal.
    Anyone else find chickens from different shops/stores taste different??
    Asda and Morrisons seem inferior, though Sainsburys are ok. IMHO, but why. :confused:
