It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

hhhhhhhhhmmmmmm............I feel there is something really important I should be doing. I'm not working at Mach 4 so feel weirdly at a loose end. I should be AQA'ing but I can't be faffed, but feel there is something else urgent......

I've emailed off my application form and the additional form for this job. It's 18.5 hours, the same as now, but 26k-29k pro-rata so i'd be on £900 after tax - £300 more than now. If I could get 2 courses teaching per term that would be £200 extra so AQA could almost be savings/MOT/Christmas/holiday savings money. Life would still be frugal but I wouldn't have to dip into my savings each month as long as the teaching carried on. It would also mean I could do the next stage of my teacher training. I'd lose my WTC, but would be a step back in the right direction financially, mentally and career wise.

See what happens really. I don't want to leave where I am but I need to look after myself a bit so I'm just putting out feelers in case nothing comes out of the merger.
