    hi She
Where do you go to charity shops? Any good ones? Largs cs are crap high prices and by the time people give the stuff away itt is past it's sell by date. Do you go into Glasgow or what?. Ayr market was really huge on Sunday but I~ think there isn't one next Sunday. Anyone know of any carboots in Ayrshire or Renfrewshire this weekend? Anyone know if there is one in theBbridge of Weir this Sunday? Also does anyone know when there is a carboot in Paisley and how often it is? Supposed to be a good one there but I do not know where or when. Any info on any car boots in all of Ayrshire Renfrewshire, Inverclyde greatly appreciated.

E=shelovestobuystuff;22834229]Just 4 months to go so I keep my eyes peeled all the time now for money making finds.I still have about £2k to make but most of that is all last minute final payments and cash on the day so I should manage it in time, just.I seem to be having a lucky streak just hope it continues.
My mum was inspired by my Prada bag find in particular and spent a day searching through the city charity shops for something special. She thinks she has found an authentic chanel bag.I hope it is real as it was £20 in a charity shop. The lady said they get them in quite often and she usually keeps them aside for her daughter.Lucky daughter![/QUOTE]

Hi,I just go to ones in Ayrshire. My Mum says the Glasgow ones are better though, more names and lower prices.Ayrshire shops are quite expensive too as most of the staff seem to be quite in the know about designer names etc.But even at £8 for a dress and £15 for a handbag,if it is a good designer name its still worth even more than they price them up at.I once saw a silvac item(think it was a jam pot or was it an onion, the sort with the face) priced at £6.99 with silvac written on the price tag and so I left it on the shelf because I thought they had it priced higher than usual and named it so they must know what it is worth.I checked it out online when I got home to find it was worth £40.I was gone when I went back for it of course.
So just because its dear for a charity shop doesnt mean theres no profit in it.
I am watching to see if anyone replies to your question about local car boots as I have not heard of many either and would love to do car boots too.

Hi, had a look in the completed listings on eBay for you to get a rough idea of how much they're going for. The children's sizes go for probably around £5-10 so if they look nice then I'd suggest using them as there isn't that much of a profit in it. Good bargain and well done. :)

Went to two car boots yesterday, as OH and I had a run out to the coast. I got:

a small, cheap vase for son no. 1 (30p)
a cheapo but nice top for work for me (50p)
an ice-cream from the sea front (£1.10)

And soaking wet when the heavens opened (completely free!)

Lovely Per Una coat - was £8.00 in Cancer Research, however I love it and was admiring it last Winter.

H & M sundress - £3.50, yellow, purple and white flowers, just right for todays weather.

4 recent paperbacks for £1.00 to add to my collection for holiday. I leave them there when I come home, they have a small 'library' in the Office of the Hotel for guests to use.

Per Una white linen trousers, lined in fine cotton for £4.25.

All of the above are for personal use.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
