Does anyone know of a good car boot in Teesside.

I'm looking to sell some scrapbook supplies from a failed venture, would a carboot be a good place? I don't want to give them away so to speak so not sure if I should do ebay , or any other suggestions gladly accepted:)

Sorry I cannot help on the carboot venue but I would put them on ebay as crafty stuff sells very well on there. Perhaps you could put items on in "lots" rather than each item individually. Have a look at the completed listings (log in and search then click "completed listings" down the left hand side)

    Hello All!

Managed a charity shop visit today and snaffled 2 pairs of original 1950's cats eye sunglasses (50p each), a 1960's Tootal paisley scarf (50p), 3 pairs of floral dressmaking scissors plus a pair of pinking sheers (£1.50) and a Lloyd Loom ottoman (£5). :j

sotonsaverjen: Mary Quant can be a bit hit and miss. I picked up 5 pairs of 1960's stockings with a black and white ladybird motif several years ago for 15p a pair and they sold for between £10-15 a pair but she did an inferior catalogue range for Freemans quite recently...I bought a rain poncho off eBay for £1.25 last year.

I've got some of those tights too - 20p from a charity shop. They are black with big white flowers on, just like her logo on the pack

If we ever get around to a MSE meet-up we'll all have to wear them!

  • Me too :D

one bonus of the hit and missyness of quant on ebay is: I can snaffle some of her stuff for my own collection/wardrobe for a few quid, got my eye on a bodysuit for fancy dress!!
