extras on new build

I put an offer of 150k on a new build that had been reduced from 240k in Sept to 205k today. They rejected, saying they would accept 187k min. Found out the day after that one of them sold for 180 is dec, so they are full of ****. Really wanted to call back and increase offer, but the whole aim is to wait. You need to get them to call you back. If you keep ringing and increasing your offer then tehy will keep rejecting as they know you'll most likely increase. Thank them for their time and to keep you updated. Don;t ring them back, they will ring you in the next 1-4 weeks, in which time you reduce your offer according to the price falls. They need to sell, you don;t need to buy. If it sells for a higher price, then it wasn't meant to be. Be pateint. The first week after my offer was rejected killed me, but after that it was fine. Its just like quitting smoking. Take it a day at a time.0
