  • We use a vets in Eastwood, Notts just off the Ikea roundabout called Lawrence vetenary. The tel number is 01773 713398 It's cheaper than the others in the area and they are really nice and friendly.
I had to have my cat and rabbit put down in the same day and I was so upset they didn't charge me for my rabbit!
The also do refunds on tablets that aren't used (this might be the norm though).

Some interesting info though - my OH used to work for a pharmaceutical company that supplied vets with medicine and tablets-apparantly vets can charge what they like on medication so there is no fixed cost. Always worth ringing round and comparing prices.

most vets will do this as long as the meds are in unbroken blister packs
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

if its just routine treatment ie vaccinations,spaying/neutering and flee treatments
then go to GO PET ,its just on the outskirts of bulwell / hucknall . they offer subsidised treatment, and you don't have to be on any benifits to use them. apparently they are funded by PUP and a local business (i think).
anyway a full course of puppy vaccines were just £28 and neutering our dog was £65,but they do only offer the limited services mentioned above,so not so good for a poorly pooch.
the vet and staff there are loverly too.
    tel number is 0115 9274458

    hope this helps
