okay so next entry for my diary of devious deals

Plan A Quidco giving £25 cashback for £10 deposit on jackpotjoy Bingo no winning so total profit £15 not bad for ten minutes work.

Plan B Opened savings account through topcashback for firstsave deposit £100 get £40 in cashback and a savings rate of just over 3 % i know these guys are a nigerian bank but i have done some research and they seem very coecher.

Plan C Phoned hsbc my bank card and pin have arrived after 7 days so on t & c's it says they will give me £10 .

Plan D have a old halifax bank account i have changed my gas and leccy direct debits to this account and plan to do the a&l 100 bank switching thing before it expires on the 2nd april and £50 for going through quidco.

Plan E Bingo bongo - gambled £10 won £20 and £10 cashback so £20 up
    NET Total profit today £235.

Not bad for a days work imagine what i could do if i didn;t have to work :-)

Carrying on taking sandwiches to work to cut down on my spending and now am eating brekkie at home and avoiding the food machines in work! Healthier and cheaper.

Got some buy one pub meal, another one free off one of the guys in work so will take missus out for a nice meal and not break the bank. and finally mortgage term change for nationwide has arrived now only another 19 years till mortgage end and knocked off 4 years only costing me an extra £35 a month, will see how i go this month but there is definite scope to lower mortgage again in the future.

Come and manage my life please sign_help.gif, you are doing fantastically well (although TBF, I have just opened, assuming they'll have me, a First Direct Account with £100 bonus)

5th april won 60 on sunbingo and 15 cashback deposit was 10 pounds for a £65 profit
signed mrs up to bingo liner won a tenner, deposit tenner 30 cashback for a £30 profit.
Recieved check from scottish power and cashed it. £100

    Daily profit £195 !
Isa interest arrived today £860 debating whether to pay this off mortgage???
house and contents insurance through due on the 30th april cheapest quote i can find is esure £100 for both after cashback. Doesn;t really save any money but a damn site cheaper than the renewal quote from birmingham midshire.

Filled out form to shorten mortgage again to 2026 (mortgage originally due to finish 2032).
Overpaid £139 so far this month. Been conservative so far as going away for two weeks to somerset and didn't want to restrict us having a good time, anything left in the pot at end of month will also go off mortgage.

Do ensure you read the policies very carefully; most can be read as PDF now before you take them out. I was staggered by some differences when we checked details and we then moved to Direct Line in September from Zurich. A lot of inbuilt cover in the Direct Line one such as Experian Credit check and travel insurance. See my thread around mid-Sept 2008 for comments on some things I found from other providers' policies.
  • thanks i will be sure to check

Just paid off another £439 off mortgage. Under 82k for the first time woohooo!
One day i hope it will all be worth it, Mrs already talking of moving to another , bigger, more expensive house GULP! Even if we do move in the future at least all the OP will mean we have more equity to get better mortgage deals and more importantly a smaller mortgage.
